The paper "International Hotel Industry in China - a Comparison with the USA" is a perfect example of a business capstone project. The hotel industry remains one of the ever-growing and vibrant industries in the world. Several investors have established their resources in his industry, and many continue to reap the positive return from the investment. The emergence of the International Hotel Industry has further led to the diversification of investment into his sector. This study focuses on the international hotel industry, especially in China. The study further sought the comparison existing in this industry with that of the US. Further, this study employed the use of secondary data for research methodology that emphasized the review of information on international hotels in China and the US. The paper focused majorly on the secondary information for purposes of drawing its analysis and conclusion.

1.0 INTRODUCTION

The global economy continues to face dynamic changes and shifts in regards to development and even declining trends. Different countries experience different shifts in their economic stability and improvement. There are several reasons which define these changes. However, various industries existing in such economies continue to have a different shape and nature of challenges and opportunities thereby defining their increase in development or consequent decline and slow growth. One of the countries experiencing a vibrant economy is China. China remains the world’s highest populated country. The country is composed of different tiers and classes within the economic classification translating into different nature of investment and economic participation. This huge population has been deemed to be the sole reason behind the rise and investment of both locals and international investors into several economic industries. A lot of industries continue to rise in the country seeking to serve the increasing population. The hotel industry is one of such kinds of industries that have seen immense growth and desire from the investors.
