This has lead to a growth in the global economic situation as well. It has not only helped the companies with lots of opportunities to explore but has also provided a lot of benefit for the society to in a huge way. Many companies do try and help in the development of the business in their own way and help in improving the condition of the society in every aspect that they can (Carroll and Buchholtz, 2014, pp. 67-74). The area and what organisations are doing Corporations have tried and helped the stakeholders in every aspect to allow them to grow and develop as well. I can see that the laws which are been made for the betterment of the employees has made the companies to be very helpful and take a good care of the employees and their families in various ways by providing educational facility for the children’s of the employees, for providing health facilities to the employees and their families etc. Employees do feel good and motivated to work more efficiently for the company when they find that the company is also looking to take care of them and their families. Consequences of organisation not being/not being socially responsible Various Acts been made with respect to having a clean air and water for the society by the government of different countries has made the companies to put constrains on their process so that they don’t spoil the air or water and allow the people of the society to have a good environment to sustain and live happily. I feel that the stakeholders in the form of the employees, shareholders, suppliers, local community and customers are very important for any company. Every member of the stakeholders does help in the growth of the company in their own way and they expect some kind of return from the company as well. Thus I believe that business should have a good look over the society and look to get social sustainability in the surroundings. For example the suppliers do help a lot to the company in producing quality products on the other hand the suppliers expect to get a good support from the company so that they can also have a continuous growth in their business operations. I feel that the suppliers and the company run together and grow and decline together. The growth of the suppliers helps the company in getting good quality materials and also in time which will in turn help the company in cost cutting. Issues raised The customers and the local community also fall under the category of stakeholders. The customers do exchange money in return for the products that they buy. They always expect to get good quality products at the best price. I would say that the customers do spend their earnings over buying a particular thing and if they don’t get the service or the product of good quality than they are been wrong done in a huge way. Thus the companies should look to provide good quality service or product to the customers in return of the money they get from them. So that they can also get good feedback from the customers and also get more number of customers on continuous basis (Freeman, 2005). The local community in the society gives facilities to the companies to grow and explore and in return they try to get some benefits from the company in terms of employments, social benefits to the society and also economic benefits. These social, economic benefits do allow the society to develop and also get huge benefits out of it. This will help in the growth of the society in terms of education level, economic level and also in encouraging more employment. Critical reflection All these factors do show that the business should be very much concern with the social sustainability. I firmly believe that with the growth of the society the business also grows in a strong way as all the stakeholders and the business go hand in hand as the growth of the business depends highly on the growth of the society and all the members who are involved directly or indirectly with the business. Second reflective Every culture has a different moral values and beliefs some of which are more conservative while others are more open and also differ in many more ways. The culture followed in UK is very much different from the culture that is been followed in US, Greece, India, China, Russia, France etc. in different ways. With the increasing amount of globalisation in the whole world companies are trying to move in various countries and explore new markets on a continuous basis. Because of this employees are been made to go to foreign countries leaving their home countries for working in a completely different place. The employees who are been mobilised to a different country do face a lot of difference with respect to the cultural difference between the two different places (Benedict, 1993). I think that every human is been brought up in a specific culture and all of us get used to that specific culture in which we have been brought up. A little change in the way we live do affect a lot in our life and also in the way we think. The same is followed even in the professional environment. When a particular person moves from one place to other for job purpose and both the places have a different work culture, the most important thing that the employee faces is differences in the culture and to cope up with it. I feel that this difference do affect a lot on the way the employee performs. It can affect a lot on his/her performance leading to a huge decline in it. The employee must have a good understanding of the new culture and should look to adapt to that culture as early as possible which will allow him to reduce his stress level and also allow the employee to gel in properly with the other employees in the company. I do agree with the fact that people across the globe have a common nature of being very much resistive to change and when it comes to adapting to the change, people don’t have a good feeling in them. The employee must be trained properly and made to understand the culture of the new place in a proper way so that he/she can adapt to the change easily without any resistance. I believe that the way of communication among the managers and the employees and also between the employees through different medium like e-mail, facebook, teeter, face to face and also in meetings must be good enough to make the new employee have a feel good factor. The employee must have a good adaptive nature to the changes to have a good future in their career. I agree to the thing the companies growing globally will require the employees to also grow in global basis. A proper understanding of the culture of the new place will help every employee to have a good growth in career as it will allow adapting easily and thus working in efficient way without facing any kind of trouble. This will help the employee to develop new skills and also learn new things in a completely new environment. I think the new skills and the new techniques will help the employee in a huge way in having a good growth in their career and reach great heights in a small amount of time. The cultural relativism does warns that all the perceptions that we have with respect to all things to be existing in the same manner as what we see is completely wrong. This clearly explains that the employees should not have such perceptions and should be ready to accept the changes easily and also adapt them as per the requirement. Thus looking at this I can firmly say that the employees should have a good understanding of the new culture to have a good future in their career and also to grow globally. With the increasing amount of globalisation by the companies, people should also try and become global and adapt to the new cultures so as to get a good growth in their careers. Third reflective I believe that the advancement is very important for having a good career. This is in respect to the growth and advancement that can be achieved in the company by going to higher positions. This will provide me with lots of opportunities to learn a lot of new things and also with a better scope in development of my skills. Having a continuous advancement in the position will not only give a good growth in the career but also provide a good life to me. With the growth in the position the responsibilities will no doubt grow up but the salary structure will also improve which will allow having a good and happy life along with the family. I will be able to achieve the basic needs and also with the growth will be able to achieve a good luxurious life as well. In future my family will be able to have a comfortable life with my children’s getting good education and family can get good health facilities as well. The continuous advancement in the company will motivate me to work more efficiently thus increase my productivity by a good percentage (Molinsky, 2012). This will allow me to create a good name in the market in the industry I work as a result provide me better opportunities too in the form of new jobs with better salary and also facilities. The facilities will allow in having a good and happy life and also a comfortable luxurious lifestyle in the society. The advancement in the positions not only gives a good recognition in the company creating a good status but also outside the company the status that will be created for me will be very good. It will allow me to have good status recognition in the society I stay and a lot of respect will be there for me. Getting a good recognition in the society do create a huge value in the life as the status in the society is highly increased and people in the society will start to recognise me. Continuous advancement in the carer will allow me to get more opportunity to explore my knowledge level and expand my radar to a greater extent. Having a growth in the career level will get me into a position where I will be able to make the decisions on my own and also implement those decisions over the juniors, thus allowing a lot of freedom in the way I work. I will be in a position to influence others to work in better way and employees will look towards me benchmarking my performance. All these will provide a good feeling to work in the company. I will be in a position to help the society as well as I would be getting more salary with the advancement so I will help the society even in terms of providing financial help. The advancement will also allow me to have a good chance to make creative and innovative ideas for the company which will be recognised on a regular basis. The job security will be very high in this case as I will be able to contribute a lot in the growth of the company as a result the company will also try and support me rather than removing me from the job. It will also allow having financial freedom which will allow me to buy whatever I desire to buy because of better salary. This advancement will provide me a lot of facilities which will create a good positive impact in my career but because of the increasing positions the work load will also increase along with the responsibility which might hinder the work-life balance a bit. But still its on the top of the list because with the advancement in career a lot of things would follow up automatically making my life easy and also helping in having a good lifestyle in the society.
