In accordance with the incessant growth and continuous transformation of the global business environment, adequate entrepreneurial knowledge plays a decisive role for marketers to strengthen their competitive position. In this regard, the study of Rubin and Dierdorff (2010) has critically acclaimed that the entrepreneurial programs offered by the contemporary business schools have a major significance to build the professional careers of different individuals with pertinent academic knowledge. However, the study has revealed that around 70 to 90 percent of the organizational learning occurs only by on-the-job training modules which can be generated through different training as well as mentoring processes. Although there are informal experiences that can be gained by individuals from the on-the-job process, it may result in bringing about certain deficiencies to synthesize learning along with empowering managerial competencies. In order to increase managerial competencies, the individuals must need to possess adequate academic knowledge to have fertile entrepreneurial knowledge and skills (Rubin & Dierdorff, 2010).

In this regard, an effective MBA program can enable the modern generation to leverage appropriate competencies of being a successful entrepreneur. According to Mintzberg (2005), managerial learning is a sort of professional trade which can be refined by practice and experience rather than following conventional management approaches (Mintzberg, 2005).

In this similar context, it is observed that The University of New Brunswick-Saint John (UNBSJ) campus has established itself as one of the leading and prominent educational institutions which tend to render an adequate number of entrepreneurial programs for students from different geographical locations. Currently, the university incorporates more than 11,000 graduate and undergraduate learners from over 100 overseas nations. According to the present MBA curriculum of UNBSJ, the institution mainly offers three major streams including ‘International Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Management (ETM), and General Management (University of New Brunswick, 2013).

According to Chirapanda (2004), the rapidly increasing pace of technological advancements has become a major strategic tool for the marketer to efficiently perform their range of operations. Moreover, the organizations operating in the modern business industries have been observed to increase their investment portfolio especially to develop the technological infrastructure (Chirapanda, 2004).
