Specifically, entrepreneurship has become more significant as world business trends advances to encompass global diversity and dynamism. The creative economy in the business world crucially takes into account the ever changing nature of individual, firm, organizational, and state interactions in the business arena. The more significant aspect of this process has been the creativity and innovativeness of individuals in exploiting emerging opportunities in business. In doing so, they have improved their own welfare, and laid down an operational base upon which other people can build their social and economic livelihoods. The academia world has also moved fast to cover, encourage, and promote all levels of entrepreneurship, especially in the context of creative world economy. Enterprise curriculum for creative industries students: An exploration of current attitudes and issues Entrepreneurship has been accorded significant attention in every level of entrepreneurial-based operations. Although entrepreneurship is associated with individual operations in relation to setting up and running business ventures, it has come to be a source of social and economic livelihood for massive populations around the world. Firms and organizations have embraced entrepreneurial function in many aspects of their operations, in a bid to exploit the creativity and innovativeness of entrepreneurs across the globe. The integration of entrepreneurship in global business undertakings, and the subsequent advancement of entrepreneurial concepts have captured the attention of various scholars. Charlotte and Naudin (2006) consider curriculum design and development for the various creative industries, with specific concern on current attitudes and emerging issues in these creative industries. The enterprise curriculum considered in this text does not fail to treat entrepreneurship with utmost interest. Entrepreneurship is a key driver in today’s economy, at both national and international levels. The curriculum specifically tries to assess and evaluate the issues and attitudes that characterize the existing creative industries, entrepreneurship included. Entrepreneurship practices are guided by various attitudes, and also face diverse and dynamic issues from time to time. Entrepreneurs establish their operation for different motives, but are commonly guided by the need for social and economic success. In that pursuit, they work their way to satisfy variant market needs within the relevant industries that entrepreneurial ventures are established. The motive to succeed and at the same time satisfy market demands shapes the observed attitudes in entrepreneurial operations (Charlotte & Naudin, 2006). Emerging issues in the same context could be cultural, social, economic, or political in nature. However, the creativity, innovativeness, knowledge and skills that entrepreneurs exhibit counters the negativity of such issues. Cultural, social, economic, or political factors also influence entrepreneurship positively. Entrepreneurs have realized enormous encouragement and assistance for each of the mentioned factors in every level of entrepreneurial practice. Each of these factors has provided a favorable and efficient environment within which entrepreneurs thrive. Literature and academic sources have developed interest into entrepreneurial matters, resulting in the integration of entrepreneurship and other enterprises into the development of curriculums for use in academic purposes. Green community entrepreneurship: creative destruction in the social economy Globalization has enhanced entrepreneurship practices around the world. This has been realized due to the ever rising industrialization, economic integration between economies, and state interdependencies across the globe in relation to business, commerce, and trade. With this trend, the concern for green environment has emerged, especially due to the worsening scenario of global warming caused by persistent climate change. In this regard, entrepreneurs have become environmentally sensitive, and have, therefore, come up with green operation in a bid to try and curb climate change. The use of green practices by entrepreneurs has enhanced their operational portfolio, through mobilizing funds for environmentally friendly businesses. The creativity and innovativeness of green entrepreneurs has further revolutionized the green environment pursuits. They have emerged to be vital and key players in the environmental battle for conservation and sustainability. Although there are aspects of green pursuits that are termed destructive to the social economy, entrepreneurs are investing on programs that can help monitor their operations and highlight the underlying shortcomings (Gliedt and Parker, 2007). There are numerous improvements and advancements realized in the environment that entrepreneurs operate in. For instance, customization of technology to suit specific businesses and operations has allowed and enhanced the way that entrepreneurs conduct their business. With that, entrepreneurs can effectively exploit their talents and strengths; as well realize opportunities in their weaknesses. Although Gliedt and Parker (2007) highlight the destructive aspect of creativity in the social economy, they highlight that entrepreneurship is playing a vital role in alleviating the destructive part of creativity by replacing it with innovativeness that rather enhances every aspect of the social economy. Graduate entrepreneurs: intentions, barriers and solutions Education systems and programs have moved fact to cover and provide information and knowledge on entrepreneurship. These programs are shaping the minds of learners to orient them towards entrepreneurship and what it entails. Smith & Beasley (2011) considers the making of graduate entrepreneurs within and without the education systems and programs, taking into account the underlying and emerging intentions, barriers, and solutions. The text makes an all-round treatment of entrepreneurship in the academia world, and insists on the significance of graduate entrepreneurs. Smith & Beasley (2011) places graduate entrepreneurs into the actual entrepreneurial environment, and also in the real world position of entrepreneurial practices. More importantly, the role of education is emphasized. Researchers and scholars have collaborated and come up with vast information and data about entrepreneurial concepts and all the aspects it covers. Graduate entrepreneurs are equipped with these concepts across all levels of entrepreneurship, resulting in highly employed knowledge and skills. The intentions of entrepreneurship have been taken into account, and all barriers, pitfalls, or challenges outlined in order to equip graduate entrepreneurs with vast information that makes entrepreneurship an efficient practice. Possible and highly functional solutions to the underlying problems have been highlighted, thereby making the creative economy a favorable and suitable environment for all entrepreneurs to thrive in.
