Download file to see previous pages The several available methods for treatment of cancer and all prove to have severe effects to the victims. A proper method of treatment put in place of these other forms of treatment; can be of a relief to the patients. Some cancer patients even believe that cancer treatment is worse than the cancer itself because of the side effects they have to go through. Cancer nanotechnology may have an answer to this big problem. First, it is cheaper, has faster detection methods, and has fewer side effects in comparison to the other forms of treatments. In nanotechnology if the cancer detection nanoparticles are loaded with anti cancer drugs then scientists can be able to attack cancer cells exactly where they are. A potent dose of the anticancer drugs is in delivery in form of time-release treatment. Thus, the delivery of the drugs is to a specific area but released over a period ensuring works effectively and at the same time keeps the patient safe. Once the drug is in the designated area with cancerous cells, the gold nanoparticles take the dye to the cancer cells. White blood cells reject this dye and once the dye is inside the cancer cells, they are activated by light to destroy these cells. This treatment in comparison to the others does not subject other parts of the body to chemicals that may affect certain areas such as the tissues. The chemicals are only concentrated to targeted areas with cancerous cells in the body. This way the problem of severe side effects can no longer be a major problem in cancer treatments with this effective and efficient form of treatment for cancer. In addition, nanotechnology is much cheaper if compared to these other forms of treatment. Nanotechnology proves to be an answer to those patients seeking cheaper treatment for cancer. ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

...?Sur Lecturer Na chnology Introduction Na chnology generally is the act of manipulating purposefully matter at the atomic scale, referred to as the "nanoscale." Nanotechnology was coined in a 1974 paper as nano-technology by Taniguchi Norio at the University of Tokyo. It encompasses a multitude of hastily emerging technologies founded on the scaling down of the currently existing technologies to the next possible miniaturization and precision level. Taniguchi gave nanotechnology an approach of a top-down stand point, from the perspective of a precision engineer (Gattas 270). On the other hand, Eric Drexler, the founder of Foresight Nanotech Institute introduced to the world the term “nanotechnology in 1986, and used it to describe... the...

...?Topic Na chnology has dramatically taken the center of development in this decade of information technology. Its exponential growth in the production of nanostructured gadgets and nano devices expanded the opportunities specially that its application deals with the essential application of for information, communication, science, technology, pharmaceuticals and to healthcare. Advanced countries have unceasingly developed the exploration of nanotechnology’s significance for agriculture, water and other utility development, for science advancement, research development and for medical necessities (ACTU, 2009, p 1-4; Alonso & Alguacil, 2002, pp. 1342-1347; Roco, 2001,pp. 225-233; Singh, Olson, & Maher, 2007, pp. 189-190;...

...? Na chnology: Top Down and Bottom Up To Na chnology of Na chnology: Top Down and Bottom Up To Nanotechnology As per the advancement in the field of nanotechnology, it has been ensured that couple of approaches can be used to create the nano designs of the machines. These approaches are mainly referred to as Top down and Bottom up approach in nanotechnology. With the implication of bottom up approach, it is possible to design a microchip with its tiniest size manufacture. It is possible because the smallest atoms are placed in such a matter that the design goes to the upper version of approach. On the other hand, the top-down approach of manufacture in nanotechnology...

Nanotechnology, nanotechnology may result in being redundant or even useless. In relation to disease, nanotechnology works hand in hand with other factors and aspects of healthcare to improve the wellbeing of society for development. This is because a healthy population results in improved productivity, as opposed to one that suffers from diseases. This refers to the case of water treatment and remediation and innovation. For an unwell population, innovation would not be productive at all thus, treatment of water alleviates water born diseases and pollutants found in it that may lead to disease such as cancer, which is caused by arsenic contaminated water. Still on sustainable development,...

.... This enables means of production to reproduce exponentially, so that in just a few weeks few nanofactories conceivably can become billions. Nanotechnology offers great potential for benefit to humankind, and also brings severe dangers. While it is appropriate to examine carefully the risks and possible toxicity of nanoparticles and other products of nanoscale technology, the greatest hazards are posed by malicious or unwise use of molecular manufacturing. CRNs focus is on designing and promoting mechanisms for safe development and administration of MM effectively. This technology is suspected to cause cancer. Nanoparticles are tiny enough to penetrate cell membranes and defenses and they are able to...

... Introduction Atomic force microscopy, the optical tweezers, alongside other na chnology tools has made it possible to induce and monitor large conformational changes in biomolecules (Salam 45). These studies are often been performed in helping asses the biomolecules structure, their elastic properties, as well as their ability to work as nanomachines in cells. Stretching studies on protein have increasingly become of particular interest and they have been done in systems more than a hundred. All-atom or coarse-grained simulation [], such as those reported in refs, has helped the interpretation of such experiments possible. However, they have been limited by order 100 ns time scales. They, thus, need the use of large constant... Introduction...

...NA CHNOLOGY School affiliation Conclusion (ENGR101 Group Project Paper) Acne has for long been a problem for many people and numerous treatment procedures on the same has not worked. However, with today technology and modernization, nanotechnology can help treat the condition. However, it should not be concluded that it is 100% reliable. When administered wrongly, it can have tremendous side effects. Thus, in any form of acne treatment, be it beBenzoyl peroxide, Tretinoin or Clindamycin, one should always confirm with the doctor so as to take the necessary precautions. It is with no doubt that Nanotechnology seems to be all round useful, but it too can cause more harm rather than being a solution to...
