There are different types of tularemia, named according to their prominent symptoms. Where the sore is absent but swollen lymph evident, it is classified as glandular. If the throat or eye is involved, it is called pharyngeal or oculoglandular tularemia.Tularemia disease has been found to poses serious health implications to any populace exposed to the bacterium, especially when made into powder that can be aerosolized. In this state, Tularemia is a potential weapon used by terrorists in the same manner botulism and anthrax is used. This is a problem both locally and internationally.
