Architectural ethical case - Assignment Example

Ethical Scenario A college is on an internship programme with an architectural organization. In the of the internship, the student is involved in one major building project. He is assigned by his supervisor to help in dealing with specific suppliers of building materials in the project. On the second day, the student realized that one of the suppliers was supplying substandard building materials. He calls the supplier aside, confirms to him that the material are substandard, and tells the supplier that the case will be forwarded to the management.

The supplier says he is sorry, and begs the student not to report, as he will lose his job, thus means of livelihood. In this case, what can the student do?Probable SolutionsA. Go ahead and report the case to the management, but let them know that the supplier was sorryThis is a right decision. The management will be aware of this, and thus might choose to terminate the contract of the supplier, or pardon the supplier. B.
