Tourism Analysis Paper Tourism Analysis Paper Texas is that one place in USA which compels people, not only living inside United States but also around the world, from every corner of the world (Miller, ?2009). Its tourism attraction events like Dallas Dance, Bluegrass Festival, Plano Balloon Festival, Horrific Film Fest etc happens all around the year, attracting millions of people from different places, countries and continents to visit Texas and experience some memorable and roller coaster moments of their life.

Few days back I attended one of these tourism attraction events of Texas that gave me a great opportunity to gather some beautiful and fun-filled moments, here in Texas. I just attended the well renowned ‘Horrific Film Fest’ in San Antonio, Texas which was by far one of the best festivals I have attended so far. As I belong from that category that has never in her life missed a horror movie, this festival was of my interest. All the independent filmmakers who are working on horror/suspense/thriller are specifically invited and awards on different categories like best actor/actress, director, film etc are being distributed to all the deserving candidates.

The main idea behind this amazing tourism attraction event is to provide exposure and opportunities to all the filmmakers around the world. By the end of August, this event takes place every year in Texas. This year, quality entertainment was being provided to every single person who was present there. This festival showcased world’s best talents who were present in this film industry and provided a golden chance for all the filmmakers to meet horror movie icons around the world. Now here’s a complete over review of all the small events which made this festival a huge success!

The festival started off with an amazing musical performance by all the local bands and this continued for hours. Bands like Saturday night shockers, Ashford and Cursor headlined the musical show. Ari emceed this whole thing. This was followed by a After Dark Paranormal Research in which many celebrities and guests were asked to participate in a Ghost Hunt. Many of the films like Cam 2 Cam, The Box etc had their first screenings in the festival. It was a four day event, opening ceremony and welcoming of audience and photographers on Friday, a seminar and other local films screening on Saturday and all this happened in the next two days with some changes in the schedule.

Horrific Zombie Walk and short films screening were the main attractions of the event. What I loved about this festival was that people from around the world were awarded and encouraged, and not only the people of United States. With people’s voting and critics’ choice, the most deserving candidates were rewarded. The whole event was well-organized and for those who are huge horror movie freaks, this festival was the best peak. During the screening of all the new upcoming horror movies, shivers ran down my spine.

All the filmmakers showcased their spooky movies with all the ever-amazing freaky dummies, blood sucking vampires and crazy killer clowns. With celebrities like Allan Danziger, Terri McMinn, Marlyn Burns etc, attended this festival which added more joy to it. With every passing year, since 2007, this festival is getting better and better. But, well, the weakness of this event is that only the horror movies fans can come and enjoy their evening, so not a huge number of audiences find this festival interesting.

But for those who find it, it’s completely worth it! This is a festival which brought array of freaks and flicks for four long days. One of the best things about this event was that the film which was awarded got a chance to have a national distribution of their film. This is something which boosts other filmmakers to work even more hard and provide us with more quality films. I would highly recommend all the out of town visitors to come next year to Texas and experience the heart taking festival of the year.

It will not only provide great time to horror movie lovers but it will also help to develop interest regarding such films in the hearts of those people who are not into such films. This is what the real essence of the festival is. Film industry is getting stronger day by day with the help of such huge events which not only triggers the luck of these filmmakers but also of all the struggling artists in this specific film industry. Thousands of tourists attended this 5th Horror Film Festival and made it one of the best events. . References Miller, G. (2009). Lone Star Travel Guide to Texas Parks & Campgrounds.
