1. SPSS Software The SPSS software will be used to calculate Cronbach alphas to test the internal consistency of the data collected. The SPSS software will also be used to perform the correlation analysis (both Pearson’s r statistics and Spearman’s rho statistics) so as to establish the relationship between the variables in the study so as to be able to test the study hypotheses. 2. T-test The gender differences on the scales computed will in this case be analyzed by use of t-test when normally distributed. 3. Whitney U test The gender differences on the scales computed will be analyzed by use of Whitney U test when not normally distributed. 4. Sharpiro-Wilk statistics Sharpiro-Wilk statistics will further be used by the researcher to test for the abnormal distribution of the scores. 5. Skewness and kurtosis values Skewness and kurtosis values will be used to check on the distributions of scores. 6. Non-parametric analysis The Non-parametric analysis methods will be employed by the researcher in some situations when the information available does not rely on any distribution to test the hypothesis i.e. the hypothesis is not characterized by the parameters of the population.

Further, if a scale is not normally distributed and an attempt made to transform the scale failed then non parametric analysis is employed. 7. Pearson’s r statistics The Pearson’s r statistics will be used to perform correlation analysis on the normally distributed scales. 8. Spearman’s rho statistics The Spearman’s rho statistics will be used to perform correlation analysis on the non-normally distributed scales.
