When one compares this quote by Gandhi with karma yoga, one can see that selfless action is the real core of life. In karma yoga, one’s action has a definite meaning. Being selfless means one’s action is not bound by karma. Being selfless means there is no consequence for the action performed by a person and this is the ideal teaching of karmic yoga. My father has been a real influence on me because he taught me to live a life where the goodness of others meant the sole goal of life.
