Extract of sample "Film Analysis: Life Is Beautiful"

The belief that the world is beautiful is created by Guido for his son. In response, Giosue does not understand the real situation even unto death.

The purpose of the two beliefs in the film is to develop the plot of the film. Without Giosue's belief in a better world, the depiction of the holocaust cannot be illustrated and developed. The different perceptions of life by Giosue helped develop the plot.

Guido believes that the world may change, but the perception of the human race cannot be hidden even when conducting business. Being a Jew, Guido presents himself as a caring father but has racism in the way the family business is operated (Benigni).

The concentration camp is the main setup of the film. It is based on the execution of the Jews, but Guido ensures that the sons believe in a beautiful world with no problems. The creation of a different view of the world helps in twofold view creation.

In conclusion, the film has developed the twofold view by looking at the father and son approach to the world. The beautiful world is created in the son’s view while the real world is depicted in the life experience.
