Unfortunately, society itself created this problem. People tried to find a way to make themselves forget about troubles, relax, feel new feelings. They have chosen the wrong way…Special anxiety is caused by the fact that drug addiction has a “young face”. It means that the majority of people who take drugs are young people who are14-30 years old. The consumption of drugs has become a part of the youth leisure, entertainment. Drugs are everywhere: at the parties, establishments of education, etc.

Drugs influence our community greatly. They increase the number of crimes, spreading of serious and incurable diseases such as AIDS and hepatitis.I think it is important to talk with children about this burning problem. We should begin preventive work from kindergarten. Specialists should talk not only to children but to their parents. Work with children mustn’t be in the form of lectures, which arouse the only scepsis. There must be confident conversations with pupils and students. Specialists must do everything possible to detect risk groups at school.

All positive social powers as clergy, government, education should be united to struggle against drug addiction. Nowadays only doctors and police deal with it. Coercive methods can’t solve this problem. The program must work not for the process but for results.
