Inserts His/her Inserts Inserts Grade Inserts Here (Day, Month, Year) Behavior Management Plan: Behavior management plan is basically a positive strategy or plan that is used to improve the attitude and behavior of the children who are aggressive and do not follow the proper ethical behavior. These plans are constructed basically for students. They are implemented and used in schools in order to polish the behavior of the students. However under this plan the children who have to improve their behavioral pattern a lot can be given legal education apart from their educational institutes.

The main features or basic strategy of a behavior management plan may not always remain the same it can be altered and changed as per circumstances as every children has different behavioral requirements. Behavior plans are basically formulated to help the child in getting rid of certain attributes that can have unfavorable effects on his/her personality. Moreover these plans also work on the traits that act as a hindrance blocks in a child’s way when he\she is trying to learn new skills. While composing a behavior management plan, a fundamental behavior analysis should be carried out.

Fundamental Behavior Analysis (FBA) is an appraisal or consideration that points out or estimates the basic behavioral traits that should be eliminated from a child’s personality. Behavior management plan has five basic steps through which it is constructed. These steps are: (1) analysis or estimation of the behavior that needs to be changed (2) Information assembling that is when, where and how does the inappropriate behavior arise and how often does it occur. This information is important because it helps one to take suitable and appropriate steps and decisions. (3) Analysis and Interpretation of gathered information that is go through the information thoroughly and keep each minute point in your concern. (4) Formulation of the plan: after analyzing the behavior of the child and the information that you have gathered about that behavior start composing your plan.

This plan should consist of alternatives that can improve a child’s behavior and can eliminate the negative traits of his\her personality. Keep an important point in your mind that your plan should not be bossy instead it should be persuasive and it should have the ability to compel a child to get rid of his harmful attributes without the implementation of force. (5) Judge your plan. It is not necessary that your plan will work out. If it does not than make necessary changes that are required to make it effective and successful.

Behavior Management Plan is an influential tool which efficiently helps in the construction of proper behavior in a child. It requires the parents and teachers to be very patient and soothing with their child and student. It also asks them to avoid yelling and violence as it can further deteriorate the child’s behavior. The behavior management plan designs slow and smooth steps that direct the child towards better attitude. It points out that it is not the child who is bad or who is getting worse day by day but it’s rather certain aspects of his behavior which are harmful and which can damage his personality.

By adapting a systemic way the Behavior Management plan tends to enhance the positive aspects of the children’s personality and it deflate the hazardous and negative aspects of their personality. As it is not always possible for the parents to be available for their children at every step of life so without their supervision their child might adapt unhealthy habits and a behavior management plan is the most appropriate and effective tool that can help their child give up his\her unsuitable habits and move towards learning new skills and appropriate and suitable activities and habits.
