Admission Essay to the Michigan After finishing high school from the Al-Saad National School, I realized that I now face the challenge of choosing the strategic direction that I want to take. Having been a sheltered child all my life, I am now pressured to display my maturity by making an important decision. Choosing a suitable college together with the right choice of major has been my preoccupation for the past months. This has been tough for me knowing that this single decision will determine my future and career.

I believe that an individual should pursue his passion because it is his fuel which will enable him to reach his full potential. Having been very much interested in contributing to the financial improvement in a business organization, I will continue to major in accounting. My passion in this field can be attributed to my exposure in our family business. More than any functional area, I believe that finance should never be overlooked because one of the major goals of ever company is profit maximization and creation of shareholder wealth.

Through acquiring knowledge and skills in accounting, I know that I will be adept not just in reporting financial transaction but also in analyzing financial information and prescribing strategies. Having two uncles who both excelled in Michigan University, I am also determined to finish my degree in this respectable institution. Noting how MSU molds well-rounded individuals who do not only stand-out academically but displays a strong sense of moral and social excellence, I seek to be a part of MSU with the belief that it will provide me with the best venue for growth and development.

For me, there is nothing more important for a person but be the best that he can ever be because it is his utmost gift for himself and the society which nurtures him. I know that transferring to a new university in a foreign land will be a challenge for me. However, I am determined to get past my idealism and ideologies in order to become more open-minded to other culture. I consider my interaction with my would-be classmates and professors an opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills which will mold me into an individual of better character.

I am willing to contribute to the school community not just academically but also socially. I want my colleagues to get a glimpse of the land I came from yet I am also keen in gaining from my academic and social experience.
