This discussion has helped me to understand that a leader in the healthcare profession should be principled and lead by example. This can be achieved through doing the right thing always.

I think the other approach that could have yielded valuable information was to encourage everyone to be open and give them a chance to brainstorm certain situations that could pose challenges without consulting their leaders. As healthcare professionals, I think all practitioners should be given the autonomy to try to solve problems they may encounter without breaching their code of ethics. This will significantly play a pivotal role in positively influencing their behavior so that they know what is expected of them.
