Local leaders and the community, in general, are better positioned to persuade young people within the community to join the nursing field. The second opportunity I will focus on is opportunities for growth. In giving equal opportunities for growth, nurses will be motivated to advance their skills and abilities in order to gain promotions (). In terms of threats, implementation of the strategic plan is likely to encounter resistance and insufficient funds to finance the program. One other factor that will have a positive influence on the strategic plan includes a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

The solution

The solutions to the achievement of the projected objectives include:

1. Conducting numerous training and workshops with an intention of giving the few available nurses deliberate on ways to achieve positive outcomes.
2. Involving all stakeholders in designing and implementing the strategic plan in order to eliminate the likelihood of disagreements.
3. Directing the available resources only to areas likely to facilitate achievement of better results in an effort to address the insufficiency of resources.
