Buyer Behavior BUYER BEHAVIOR Q1A. I made a decision to buy Samsung Galaxy S4 Phone, for its brilliant HD screen, and decent and long-lasting battery backup. Most of my classmates have the model, and I admired it. I choose The Wall Street Journal because the newspaper focuses on economic and business news, which is relevant to me as a business student. The paper keeps me abreast, with up-to-date coverage of the American economy and international markets. Moreover, it features money and banking news and Market place every week.

I bought Allen Edmon's shoes because they are of quality service and integrity; they are made of the finest leather with a classy style. The insole and outsole are fitted with cork, allowing the foot to form its own footbed for custom support. The shoes are durable and very fashionable. Q1B.The advantage of buying the shoes was that it was worth the price, were comfortable, and were available in a range of colors. The newspaper covered the topics that I liked reading. The disadvantage of the phone was that it was slightly expensive with poor camera quality. Q1C.I was satisfied with The Wall Street Journal newspaper because of how widely it featured its news from political scenes, business news, and entertainment.

However, I was dissatisfied with the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S4 phone because the camera was not good for low-light shots, it had no Fm radio and the internal storage was limited because of the many applications. The purchase of Allen Edmon's shoes also kept me satisfied, they were classy and comfortable, especially when going for long walks.Q1D.I intend to continue with the purchase of the newspaper and the shoes but for the phone, I will try another model like Nokia. My dad has one and its camera is great with low-light shots, it also has different designs, which give it exciting looks.Q2.According to Ramaswamy (2012), the first stage is needing identification.

When I needed a phone, I choose the Samsung Galaxy phone after listening to my classmates. There were different phone models, but most of them recommended the Samsung phone because of its features. Thereafter, I started to process the information, which was further stimulated by watching television that evening, featuring an advert for the phone. Seth (2011) refers to this stage as information search and processing. I engaged in elaborate processing, by paying attention to the information available about the phone.

I thought about the likely advantages and disadvantages of using it. When the information was processed and secured, I figured out other phone models, their features, and where possible to get them. According to Ramaswamy (2012), this stage involves the identification and evaluation of alternatives. I had some money from my savings that were enough for the phone, and I had heard interesting suggestions concerning where I could get it. When I got the outlet, which my classmates had directed me, I found that that particular phone was out of stock.

I evaluated whether to take another phone model or to go to another outlet, I decided to try another shop. According to Sheth (2011), this is the product/outlet section stage. I purchased the phone at the exact price that I had been informed by the shop that I was referred from. The phone had camera problems and did not suit my needs. According to Seth (2011), this stage is the post-purchase behavior stage.
