The Use of the Brain Metaphor, Paradigms and Also Analyzing Two Most Influential Characters in the Organization al Affliation Some ofthe concepts associated with the brain metaphor imagery The brain in the human beings helps in questioning, especially when there arises the time for a change. In the literal meaning, the brain is used to process information. It is in the same case with the companies, they cannot be able to function without the brain metaphor. The brain metaphor assists in the information processing, communicating and also, interacting and making decisions when the need arises. There are the concepts that come with the idea of brain metaphor in an organization. The concepts include the following: Parallel information, learning, intelligence, requisite, knowledge’s, networks, mindsets and distributed control. To the organization, the idea of the brain metaphor is very important for any organizations. The company that is keen on using the brain theory assists it in the decision making. Also, the use of a distributed control in the company is very helpful in the distribution of the control (Bell and Warwick, 2012, p. 65). The brain methods will help the company to get to the bottom of an issue in case there is a need to. The brain metaphor also helps to make changes in case the first ones are not pleasant or did not meet the needs of the consumers and the business as at large. There is also the concept of information in the organization, the brain metaphor just like the brain of a person assists in introducing new information and improving the already existing ones in the company. The idea of intelligence is also very crucial because the essence of intelligence is very significant to the business. There are organizations that reflect the use of the brain metaphor. For instance, the Honda organization used it and developed a car from just the idea of the beer can (Bresser, 2013, p. 232). Two paradigms and the metaphor associated with them There can be use of the paradigm; the two types of the paradigm will be the rationale system and also, the natural system. The rational system is usually used in the complex organizations and is very effective, especially if a leader Is most of the time dealing with the limited numbers of the sub leaders who in turning their obligation is to look after and also control the actions of the other easy to replace people outside the company, but still are working for the businesses. The rationale system on the other hand can be very good if its idea is to improve the profit gaining of the business when the human in the business sector is working towards the effective functioning of the organizations. The efforts generated to the profit established in the organization can be assisted by the rational system. The other paradigm is the natural system movement. The natural system is usually said to be used in the organization, which later become the human resource movement management in the business. The natural systems bring about the total quality management theory and these are usually introduced in the big organizations. The metaphor of the organization; culture helps the organization to focus on retaining the culture of the organization. It usually helps to maintain the already culture of the organization and also be able to accommodate the new culture that might exist in the organizations. The other metaphor of the total quality management in the company uses the organization method. In this way the company can be able to set future goals such as improving from the analogue management to complete the digital immigration (Picci, 2011, p. 38) Define and discuss the organic organization and the mechanistic organization Mechanistic and the organic companies Mechanistic organization A mechanistic business is the type of the organization whereby it is hierarchical and bureaucratic. It is usually comprised of the highly centralized administration, specialized functions and also the formalized procedures and practices. The mechanistic type of the organization is not hard to manage, but can change rapidly, which can be very challenging in the company. The employees of the organization usually work separately in their given areas. These types of the companies usually hold very tight control over the employees and also the processes The organic organization The organic organization is usually comprised of the flatness in communication, which is horizontal and it is of low specializations, but only when the need arises. The employees in this set of the organization work in groups and share the input of the given tasks also the communication system is usually open between the employees, managers and also the executives. Differences between the organic and the mechanistic organizations In the organic and the mechanistic types of organization, there is a very he difference from authority and to the workers. For instance, in the mechanistic form of organization, the organization usually has the set rules, rights and also the description of the employees in the company. However, in the organic set of organization, there does not set rules and regulations, the employees are expected to be respectful to each other and also, to the managers and the executives. There are no rules for the individuals in the specific posts in the business. Also, there is another difference between the two, in the mechanistic system of the organization; there are usually the set guidelines for dealing with the work situations in the organization. Whereas on the organic set of the organization, there are usually no boundaries to the departments in the organization. In the organic organization, the flexibility brings about the cordial horizontal relations in the departments that bring the significance as compared to the actual vertical or even the chain of many commands factors. These two types of the organization differ so much though they are implemented in also different business settings in the world. One seems to be so general, such as the organic organization. The other one mechanistic organization is seen as very organized and full of arrangements and many sets of rules and regulations to be followed by the employees. In the mechanistic organization, there is the strict work specialization compared to the organic organization, whereby the employees work in groups towards a set goal. For instance, employees may work in a group to record and file records in the organization while in the other form of the organization a worker only works where he or she is specializing in (Smart and Paulisen, p. 213). In the mechanistic organization, there is a hierarchy of leadership from the most superior to the subordinate staff while in the organic organization, the employees are really free to interact with the other employees, for instance the managers, the executives and the rest without difficulty or following certain procedures like it is the case in mechanistic organization. Two most influential persons in your organization The two most influential personnel in the organization are the manager and the finance manager. The two figures are very influential to the organizations activities. The operation manager is very influential when it comes to the substitutability. In the case of an employee is not delivering as expected, the operating manager can get the employee substituted or even fired. Also, on the other hand, the finance manager is very influential too, when it comes to the issue of centrality, he is viewed as a core asset to the company. The finance manager is seen to be influential because he controls all the company expenditures in the organization such as paying the employees, paying bills, and also the other organization expenses. He runs the finance department. Also, these two figures in the organization are also very influential when it comes to the employees who are not that hardworking, those who need to be pushed to do their work. They doubt them and they do not trust the lazy employees. The finance manager when it comes to handling money to the staff members for something, for instance, for the purchasing the products and paying for the facilities he insists on trustworthy of all the employees and he argues that trust and honesty are very crucial in handling funds and also the character of credibility is very important to any company by all the employees (Kuhn and Hacking, 2012, p. 123).
