Extract of sample "Illegal Immigration in the US"

Many immigrants enter the United States illegally in search of a better life and employment and more will want to come in to try and achieve similar goals. Just like during the Reagan amnesty, which was offered in the 1980s, illegal immigrants will use the opportunity to make themselves legal and this will attract even more immigrants.

The legal status granted to the illegal immigrants will enable them to ask for their spouses and children who may not be citizens to be granted citizenship. This is by way of naturalization. This means that from a single person that may be granted citizenship, another group of persons may acquire citizenship status by virtue of being relatives or family to that person. Thus, from one person, even more, persons may enter the United States and become legal citizens. Such an outcome may result in a remarkably rapid increase in the population.

Another case that can be put across is that the legal “immigrants” will leave their old jobs which were low paying for better jobs. This will result in a gap where they used to work which can only be filled by other illegal immigrants. This means that more people will immigrate to the United States to take up those jobs, and this will result in an increase in population.
