Tourism is a way through which people become more and more involved in moving outside their respective home nations. Travelling as well as visiting new places throughout the globe is a pleasant aspect. Notably, there exists certain people who prefer to travel with others, whereas, other people like to travel alone. It is worth mentioning that the gaining momentum of globalization has imposed considerable impact in the overall tourism related activities at large (Neumann & Nünning 1-22). Thesis. In respect to the above context, this particular essay intends to explore the idea that tourism is an essential part in a human being’s life. In this regard, several countries have taken the initiatives of promoting along with developing the tourism segment. Credibility. The credibility of this essay will be measured through better use of varied valid sources and references that reflect on appropriate facts about the stated subject matter. Preview. Traveling helps in exploring new places and providing opportunities in disconnecting people from their regular life schedules including jobs, schoolwork or even relationships. Traveling is the best way to leave everything else behind. In the way of journey, people use to pay much attention towards the things around that rather recognized as unfamiliar or new. Moreover, with the aim of visiting into new places, people often find an unexpected relaxation in their moods (Neumann & Nünning 1-22). II. INTRODUCTION A. Evidence 1. Travelers before thinking of moving out need to peruse their respective decisions regarding either they will travel alone or with a specific group. It is often observed that most of the people prefer to travel with their friends to enjoy and explore new things. Additionally, other people also prefer to travel alone on a tour so that they can meet with the new people, become self- reliant as well as spontaneous and prefer to get away from the pressure. Traveling alone has a significant advantage of making people responsible for making own decisions such as planning along with controlling trips that prove to be quite effective in rewarding experiences as compared to travelling with others. Specially mentioning, travelling alone compels people to interact with others and experience new things. Nevertheless, this helps people in becoming self-reliant and independent, which cannot be noticed while travelling with a group. Traveling helps people to interact with new individuals, explore the environment of other country and its respective culture. In this respect, peoples who travel alone avails an opportunity to make proper choice among their respective fields of interests, which at certain times, is not available in the scenario of travelling with the other people(s) (Walewinder, “10 Benefits Of Travelling Solo At Least Once A Year”; Kristina, “10 Benefits of Traveling Solo”). B. Evidence 2. Correspondingly, travelling process includes significant amount of fund requirement and the allocation of the same in a proper manner. Considerable seeking for gaining information regarding the destinations before going to a trip will certainly help the people to obtain numerous information by the means of internet, maps, travel books and asking information from others who already visited the places among others. Besides, it will also help people to gain appropriate knowledge regarding the trips. In this respect, it is worth mentioning that travelling alone seemed to be quite effective for the people in terms of making their individual hotel reservations, assessing transportation along with other operational costs with higher flexibility of time, destination and decision making. Moreover, this particular approach provides the people a significant scope of making effectual plans about their trips in accordance with their own budget. Apart from the above stated aspects, the approach i.e. travelling alone provides the travelers to organize their entire tasks such as duration of time that they will spend in a particular destination and different travelling modes. This point of self-determination and freedom is missing in travelling within a group, as majority of the preferences will be given prior importance. In contrast, alone or solo travelling will certainly help the people to explore more about own-self and discover their own strengths along with weaknesses. In alone travelling, people often gets ample amount of time about listening what their mind says and focus without anyone involvement in the life. These similar aspects could not be possible in the other aspect i.e. travelling with other, as people gets highly involved within the group members (Wilson 30-36; Decary and Goldberg 10). C. Evidence 3. In addition, travelling alone could prove to be quite beneficial in getting rid of the situation of argument and disagreement that mostly arises in the situation while people travel in a group. Additionally, travelling alone gives people a higher amount of freedom with arising no issues and any miserable behavior of others. It also allows people to acts in a spontaneous manner (Hunter, “Five Joys of Traveling Solo”). Travelling alone allows people to indulge and to explore in different things that they generally do not prefer. This again restricts them from being judged by anyone, for example, in the aspect of foodstuffs. There is no doubt about the fact that with enjoying and removing the challenges that are faced in adverse situations in an effective and appropriate manner, the confidence level of the people gets boosted at large. In general terms, travelling alone in the ways is much more challenging than within a group. Correspondingly, facing different challenges will certainly assist in growing wiser as well as stronger with proper learning approach and improves the critical decision-making procedures of the people. In this similar context, travelling alone will certainly provide the travelers to spend ample amount of time for self and support them to get rid from immense pressure, stress, workload or family responsibilities. It is worth mentioning that one of the most advantageous aspects linked with travelling alone is that people often gets adequate time for their own, which enables them to move beyond their comfort zones and reap significant benefits. Thus, it can be asserted that the real trip is primarily based on the people’s attitude of life, not the approach that people travel alone or in a group. It is the perceptions of the people that really matters in determining whether they will travel alone or with a group. Travelling alone has its own considerable advantages, as at the end of the journey people will be able to learn new things with much changed behaviours in life (Travel-Soul-Therapy, “Hidden Rewards for Solo Explorer”; Juliff, “The Pros and Cons of Solo Travel”). III. CONCLUSION From the above analysis and discussion, it can be ascertained that travelling is one of the striking experiences, making the individuals to experience varied amazing aspects. Tourism industry has certainly unlocked different avenues for the people who want to travel to various prospective venues during different time span. Specially mentioning, with regards to the changing dimensions and prospective of the people, various important aspects are apparently observed to highlight the prospect of growth in the approach of travelling alone. In this regard, it will be vital to mention that travelling alone has its own significant advantage as compared to the same in a group. This helps in learning more about self, interact with different strangers, experience different and new things, gain high amount of freedom, overcome from varied crucial challenges, get rid of adverse situations and eventually strengthen the confidence level among others. Thus, it can be concluded that travelling alone will certainly prove to be one of the imperative aspects of tourism, which shapes the inherent personality and boost the inner strengths of the people at large.
