The paper "Human Services Grant Program Goals and Objectives" is an outstanding example of a health sciences and medicine research paper. The consumption of drugs and alcohol has increased to a substantial extent within the US which has been affecting the psychological and physical health of individuals and deteriorating the stability of the society by a large extent (Stagman, Schwarz and Powers, “Adolescent Substance Use in the U.S.”). It is perceived that adolescents in the US are mainly affected by the problem of drugs and alcohol consumption.

In this respect, the consumption of drugs and alcohol is seemed to negatively affect the psychological health, academic performances as well as the development of students. Notably, the problem of drugs and alcohol is affecting the health and development of individuals both at national as well as international levels in the US. Human Service Organization (HSO) has thus formulated plans of implementing a prevention program with relation to alcohol or drugs among individuals in schools. With due consideration towards the continuously rising problem of drug abuse among adolescents in the US, the prevention program will offer support as well as healthcare services to drug-addicted individuals with the sole intention to generate greater awareness and assist them in improving their health and growth.

Moreover, individuals will also be facilitated with the opportunity of improving their academic performances which are often affirmed to be negatively influenced by regular drug consumption. The major objective of the organization and its intended prevention program is to mitigate the issue of drug addiction among high as well as middle school individuals. The organization will educate these individuals with the health problems of drugs consumption and provide healthcare services for their nutritional growth as well as better academic performances so that they can attain their desired goals and get established in their life.

In order to be effective in its approach, the prevention program is required to be supported with additional funds from HHS. In order to implement the program at a large scale ad planned, the organization will require around $ 40,000 from HHS. Additionally, the prevention program with the grant acquired will be facilitated with the opportunity of serving the drugs and alcohol affected adolescents in the US.
