Extract of sample "Should People Turn off Mobile Phones"

Nowadays people face the problem of not knowing when it is necessary to turn their cellular phone off. In other words, the chance to learn from experience is missed. Thus, using a mobile phone means filling the mind with theoretical knowledge in favor of the practice.

On another hand, the efficiency of comprehension is low in the case of the Internet. The phenomenon of mental discipline is almost neglected while reading from gadgets in contrast to printed information. So, people know a lot but are not capable to provide in-depth analysis. Hence, the quantity of received information from smartphones does not mean quality in terms of intelligence and smartness.

To sum up, using mobile phones for receiving new knowledge is not efficient in terms of understanding the reality and systematization of experience. In fact, by looking at the smartphone it is easy to forget about the real world and get different kinds of information quickly. But, this will not make people smarter.
