CTAE - Career, Technical and Agricultural Education The Georgia Department of Education is the financial agent certified by the Georgia Board of Education (GBOE) to oversee the compliance of Perkins IV associated documents for the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) as well as the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) (GA Improvement 1). The management of secondary and postsecondary technical education improvements related actions is under the GaDOE and TCSG respectively. The joint responsibilities of these two groups allow the state of Georgia to offer sufficient technical skills, academic skills, as well as workplace readiness skills, at every level of education (GA Improvement 1).
