In consideration of the fact that the developing countries can make use of as much foreign investment as possible, the local and central governments provide their complete cooperation to these educational institutes.However, an area that merits consideration is the fact that educational institutes that choose to establish and promote themselves in developing countries such as India are observed to implement marketing strategies that are significantly different from marketing strategies that they employ in the United Kingdom.

This difference is observed as an effect of the difference between the education trends that prevail in India. It is for the same reason that this research shall make use of the case of Newcastle College and shall attempt to analyze the marketing strategy that Newcastle College adopts and implements in light of the differences between Newcastle’s marketing strategies in India and Newcastle’s marketing strategies in the United Kingdom. 1.4 PROJECT AIMThe research aims to develop a sound knowledge of the intricacies of marketing of educational institutes in developing counties such as India.

In doing so, the research aims to develop an understanding of the variables that have the most significant influences on educational institutes in cases where they choose to establish themselves in foreign regions.
