With this concern, the coursework tends to explain the different planning, operational management as well as the designs used in the facility centre i.e. Morey Courts with detailed explanation of varied significant aspects including safety along with risk management, participatory planning and certain Acts including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA). Discussion 1. Demonstrated Need For the Facility Center and Conclusions Drawn Morey Courts is a centre, which provides elegant support in the form of recreation to the community members residing within Michigan. It is located at a central position in the city of Michigan and noted to be meeting the recreational needs of the people of every age. Justifiably, the recreation centre effectively incorporates certain events and games that add up to the needs for enjoyment and recreation to the people residing within the community (1Morey Courts, 2015). Moreover, providing active support towards developing the health and fitness needs of the people also adds up to be the other attractive feature of this recreation centre (1Morey Courts, 2015). 2. Feasibility Study Conducted and Results There is a huge prospect for Morey Courts to make a dominant position in its respective filed, as it is going to provide an efficient support for developing the individual needs of recreation. With facilities such as group cycling, family night games and safe gaming zones for children among others are going to be highly accepted by the community members and thus there lays the chance of projected growth of the centre in near future. Furthermore, by providing a safe environment to the young people while practicing various games and events under the same roof is going to act as an added advantage for the centre to attract large masses from the locality (2Morey Courts, 2015). Additionally, with the developed facilities and larger amounts of equipments, the centre is going to increase its ability to gain the interests of the people. The popularity was largely visible while conducting a survey among the people who resided within the locality. It was noted that the centre was gaining popularity amid the people of Mount Pleasant (2Morey Courts, 2015). 3. Availability of the Funding Options Several state and federal government funding facilities are available to comply with the funding needs of the recreation centre. There are certain local recreational centers to which funding facilities have been provided by the government of the US. In this regard, a series of plans and programs are offered by the respective government for developing the recreation centers operating within the country. Furthermore, the state funds as well as local authority funds were even available on behalf of the government for the above stated purpose (Walls, 2009). Morey Court Recreation Center is regarded as an entity of privately funded having partnership and collaboration with various fitness centers that are operating within the region. Several sponsorship facilities were availed by the center to develop its facilities and even hosting various programs. Besides, the center even received funds from the local authorities to fulfill the above stated objective. The tie-ups with the several mercantile banks even enhanced the funding facilities that fulfilled the needs of the facility center (3Morey Courts, 2015). Thus, to enhance the ability of the center to meet with the diversified funding techniques, it went ahead towards making deliberate efforts in forming more partnerships with different potential funding authorities (3Morey Courts, 2015). 4. Site Selection Considerations One of the considerations, which were used to decide the site selection for the facility, is the transport facility. Being located at a central position of the city, the center is likely to attract huge figure of people from the surrounding location. This is even going to act as a positive move for the center, as its elegant location is going to attract more customers and enlarge customer base (1Morey Courts, 2015). Furthermore, the location was even selected based on the availability of hotels and other residential facilities, as it would help the recreation center to host big events. However, other locations were available, but the present location of the site comprised all the facilities that were needed for the development of the recreational center (2Morey Courts, 2015). The central location, elegant connectivity and the availability of the residential complexes within reach acted as added advantages for the center to receive maximum attention from the visitors. With the introduction of number of emergency exits and other safety specifications, the center has maintained the individual needs of safety in every situation and under any calamity (1Morey Courts, 2015). Wooden and Rubber Flooring 7. Design as per the Universal Needs Notably, the design of the facility was made in such a way so that the universal needs of the people such as older people and individuals with disability were duly met within a specified guideline. Commendably, the toilets and other areas were designed as per the specific standards and rules that depicted by the US government under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) (United States Access Board, 2004). The facility center was build with the intention of providing various facilities of hospitality in accordance with the needs of the citizens (1Morey Courts, 2015). In order to determine whether the facility was designed for inclusion, it can be affirmed that the center made deliberate efforts in meeting the individual needs of the society by taking special care of women, children, aged citizens as well as disabled people. Furthermore, a huge figure of technical soundness has been provided in the design for meeting the guidelines provided by the government to meet with the universal needs (1Morey Courts, 2015). 8. Utilization of the Planning Professionals For developing the center i.e. Morey Courts, the professionals bearing eloquent experiences were appointed to ensure that technicalities related with the architecture could be duly adhered and special needs could be met. In addition, assistance was taken from the people associated with the building of the parks and other recreation units so that proper planning and design must be adhered as per the requirement (1Morey Courts, 2015). This provided efficient support to enhance the quality of architecture and other needs that would generate greater value to the visitors by a considerable degree (1Morey Courts, 2015). 9. Other Considerations Correspondingly, it can be apparently observed that the different needs of individuals were properly met in order to ensure that the people visiting the recreation center could enjoy their leisure time effectively. More importantly, enormous specifications were followed for the development of the overall plan in relation to the events concerning various indoor games. One of the specific structures of the recreation was identified to comprise 8 full size courts that would support events like volleyball as well as basketball, youth recreation center, locker rooms and gymnasiums among others, adding greater value to the recreation needs of the individuals. These developments are even going to demand for the recreation center for the visitors. The fitness center has even developed its facilities as per the motto of planning as well as designing the same for conducting the practice of safety along with risk management (1Morey Courts, 2015). Proper Planned Courts Summary Morey Courts have followed numerous specifications based on the individual needs of the people visiting the same for recreation.
