All this can be achieved by setting a welcoming, safe, kind, and disciplined environment for learning. I have the needed respect for myself, in addition to respect for the child and their families. My motive is to make it my priority to uphold all the required safety regulations regarding the children. I also have a strict confidentiality policy or any information shared with the parents. Family diversity is an aspect I hold dear. Family diversity acknowledges cultural indifferences, economic status, and orientation.

I work hard to ensure each child develops their individuality. Each child receives the proper and needed respect and guide to help in developing their self-image. I always stay informed and positive about the children to get a better understanding of how to help them. Another reinforcement I have developed is still putting on a smile and maintaining positive energy when engaging with them. My competency goal 6 proves that I always need to stay updated when it comes to matters of regulations.

I need to know about the current laws and developments that could impact the child’s educational progress. I share the information early with the parents to help them cater to the additional needs of the students. I am kind with a positive attitude with genuine concern to help the child grow. I believe it is my calling to give the students a safe learning environment. My love extends being around the children in different settings.
