PHOTOGRAPHIC INDUSTRY Introduction Photographic equipment entails information technology agreement (ITA) mostly of advanced photo systems (APS) and photo-developing apparatus (mini-labs). The industry reports that they are no significant producers of APS cameras and mini-labs especially in the United States. However, the United States produces action imaging workstations and their parts. Photography is equally important in industries where graphic representation is required such as construction of machinery and architecture. Moreover, photography forms large enlargements of arts of drawing and draughtsman works. Besides, the use of M’s visual represents the works of coping in photography. Comparison of fashion photographers Cecil Beaton and Tim Walker are the major fashion photographers from the past to the present time. They have done fashion photography in different occasions contributing to their specialty and experience from time memorial. However, the two fashion photographers have different ideas based on the ways fashion photography is done. Cecil Beaton in the book, fashion and psychoanalysis: styling and self, argues that fashion is a mass experience that feeds an individual (Davies, 2008). Moreover, he suggests that representatives of fashion are those whose originality takes outward expression of them. An individual chooses his or her best fashion, depending on his or her interests in the fashion world. It is essential to note that more fashion has a variety of developments in terms of time (Beaton & EBSCOHOST, 2012). On the other hand, Tim Walker, suggests that fashion photography involves story telling. The stories told in fashion photography revolved around the issues experienced in the normal contemporary society. The stories may talk about the evil practices of a society and the way the society perceive such issues. Tim Walker majors fashion photography with different stories within the society (Walker, Thierstein, & Muir, 2011).). It is in contrasts with Cecil Beaton’s arguments who perceive fashion photography as mass experience that revolves around an individual as compared to Tim Walker’s story telling of fashion photography. Moreover, Cecil adds that fashion photography is more than comparisons made on normal storytelling, but involves more of private expressions of an individual (Beaton & Vickers, 2003.). Besides, Cecil suggests that fashion photography is a particular instance in visual culture. It is ephemeral and ubiquitous. Additionally, fashion photography is found in glossy websites and magazines, equally at home in galleries and museums (Beaton, Albrecht & Museum of the City of New York, 2011). Therefore, fashion photography is found in different areas of the society at varied places giving meaning to the need of fashion photography in different parts of the world. The need for fashion photography involves styles developed in different parts of the society that tend bring different experiences in the normal society. Tim Walker, on the other hand, suggest that fashion photography are stories told on different parts of the world based on the developments that are in the world like the stories told on museums and galleries. Therefore, Cecil arguments are based on the production of ideas on the kind of fashion photography. The productions publishes on magazines and seen at the museums and galleries to give an experience of fashion photography. Tim Walker bases his ideas of fashion photography on storytelling of different kind scenarios that emanate from the contemporary society. Photography Industry Photography begins with the actions of photojournalists. They produce images for publications using cameras. Moreover, photo documentarian and photojournalist both capture issues of current affairs around the world (International Center of Photography, 2009). However, photojournalists specifically do the work of publications. Besides, journalists are witnesses of specific events and translate events into visual images that are normally recognizable and emotive without any interpretation. Developments in landscape photograph advances than portrait photography. Photojournalists’ must be aware of the current issues around the world, research specific topics and accept responsibility of current culture. Therefore, the history of photography has many developments that include the actions of photojournalists and photo documentaries. They help in developing photographic industry through the research and study of current cultures across the world (Vartanian, Crump, Blahnik & Olympia, 2011). Fashion photographers In fashion photography, the photographer normally tells a story. The main fashion photographers are Tim Walker and Cecil Beaton. They develop photographs in professional ways that catch the attention of contemporary society in broad and diverse ways. The two fashion photographers give stories that enhance experience of the viewer and client (Walker, 2008). Moreover, from the business point of view, storytelling with the use of images gives the opportunity of selling more client books, prints and making more of shoot experience. Besides, the stories told may entail fantasy such as the models of the world and fairytales environments as fashion photographer, Tim Walker does in his works (Walker, 2012). Moreover, the story may include sexuality and consumerism in the society, like the works of David LaChapelle. Therefore, storytelling in fashion photography entails different topics told by assorted fashion photographers in their works. They give a variety of teachings in their works sourced from the contemporary society. Additionally, the stories may be about beautiful doe-eyed subjects that appear plucked from Victorian era, as the works of Paolo Roversi. On the other hand, fashion photographers understand the primary actions of identification in relation to fashion as Cecil Beaton suggests in his works. According to Beaton, engagements of fashion quite clearly comprise subjectivity. Cecil Beaton, argues that fashion does not concern the use of garments solitarily but wearing of the garments and ways in which the public view the worn garments. Consequently, Cecil views fashion in terms of scented psychoanalytic debates as compared to other fashion photographers such as Tim Walker who views the same fashion as logical traditions. Therefore, fashion photography entails different approaches that are farfetched from the normal stories in the contemporary society. The stories developed by fashion photographers give society some teachings based on global considerations (Willis & Henry Art Gallery, 2013). Conclusion Photography is a complex field that entails a majority of structures. Its developments begin from the study of Microsoft visuals, to make relevant pictures to the use of cameras and promotion of cultures through fashion photographers. Fashion photographers have a wide range of stories from which they develop their ideas based on fashion photography. Finally, it is vital for photographers to develop photographs using all the relevant procedures for quality production of pictures in visual arts and films.
