Unit 4 Learning Activity Unit 4 Learning Activity For this study, I observed a person with asthma that is one of the many chronic diseases. The condition is triggered by any antibodies that cause the production of histamine. In the process, the histamine causes the lungs to produce water and mucosa, inhibiting the absorption of oxygen. The person was sensitive to the environmental changes. Any significant changes affected his breathing, and the asthma would be triggered. Evidently, the person was operating in a moderate environment where there is neither much cold nor dust.

While in the open air, he became uncomfortable because of the plant and flower spores that float in the air. They caused him to sweat and struggle in breathing and sweated profusely. His pulse rate would increase steadily and he could not breathe comfortably. The person demonstrated normal communication skills while under no effects of any triggers. In that case, the asthmatic attacks are what caused him to change. While under attack of the condition, the person was unable to communicate. He could only utter a few words while panting heavily.

Furthermore, he used the gestures because the words hardly came out of his mouth. The condition inhibited his mobility. In that case, his motor skills became ineffective as he could not move. The legs seemed to become weak, and he just did not manage to move. Furthermore, he changed his behaviour in the midst of the people. He reduced his talking and remained silent for a long because he was struggling to breath. From the observations, I realized that Asthma is a serious condition that requires cleanliness in the environment.

Furthermore, the condition makes it difficult for a person to remain comfortable for a while but it is corrected by antihistamine drugs (Omojasola, 2012).BibliographyOmojasola, A. H. (2012). Perceptions of Generic Prescription Drug and the Utilization of Generic Drusg Discount Programs. Ethnicity and Disease, 22, 479–485.
