The Future of Education in US and Saudi Arabia Affiliation Introduction In this essay, a discussion of the targeted thresholds on the academic diversity in the US and Saudi Arabia and at large the whole world will be analyzed. The academic programming departments in both countries have got involved in a skillful policy development to ensure diversity. The trend has seen the team focus an anticipated paradigm shift from the current situation. Utility is likely to get maximized and young generation getting send to schooling will be basically taught using online means. The network configuration at a global scope will become a transformative aspect as it will make learning to become an interesting exercise. The revolution in the education sector will also result in an overall information symmetry to the residents of both countries and at large the world. The education infrastructure will also get upgraded and the funds spend on the acquisition teaching staff decline. It will become a cost cutting strategy as the education sector has over time utilized large amounts of capital that could have got utilized in developing other sectors. The overall adoption of technology in the education sector will eventually result in a declined rate of illiteracy and ignorance levels as learning shall become a progressive exercise. Future expectations in the Education sector The initiation of formal education dates back to the 19th century when people saw the need of adopting a formalized educational system as opposed to the informal. The future of the education will heavily relay on the adoption of formalized systems of impacting knowledge to the students (Rugh, 2012). The development agenda of the education sector will heavily rely on the methods of overcoming the barriers that have for long hindered the development and establishment of formalized education in both US and Saudi Arabia. The aim is to ensure that learning can take place anyplace anytime so long as there learner has a willingness to learn. The idea of students going to school for classes shall change and become history. It is so as classroom learning will no longer be taking place and if it happens to be shall be made for the young generation only. The future of education in the next 20 years in US expects to change massively as a way of fighting the high level of illiteracy existing among the young generations. The culture of education to be facilitated by a teacher is likely to cease as a full actualization of modern means of promoting education will be put in place. The increased use of the social media such as facebook, twitter, Google, YouTube and other channels shall get converted to a learning platform. Learners will be getting the desired study materials and resources by using the applications that will be supported by these social networks. Teachers will get the opportunity to transmit assignments and mark them online via the social media with the aid of well programmed programs that will ensure accuracy and timely delivery. The use of mobile phones in learning is another aspect with likelihood of getting incorporated in the learning system. It is so as over 95% of the total population of both countries has an access to a cell phone. The availability of such facilities will ensure that education tailored applications can get downloaded and installed in the phones. The trend will end up attracting large population in the embrace of online and digitized education. Primary education will get tailored towards a full use of computers and laptops among other modern equipment that will aid students familiarizing themselves with technologies (Prokop, 2014). Parents will have a core duty towards shaping the educational backgrounds of their children as the education will get accessible everywhere due to the sound infrastructure that will get developed. The revolution of the educational sector will be immense, and much shall get achieved. A revision of the American and Arabic education systems shall get done as a way of ensuring that proper and meaningful education programs are adopted. A survey conducted in 2014 by the International Center for Excellence revealed that there was much of irrelevance between the current education and the job market. It reported that most of the education programs were more theoretical than practical. For example, when I did my practicum course in my bachelor of Education in Arabic Language, I found that there was a gap between what I had studied in the university and what the real life needed. As a result, a large population has changed their perceptions and only thinks that white collar jobs are the only source of employment. It has caused many people to move away from the adoption of blue collar jobs that are still rewarding and, as a result, a gap has existed in the job market. The effect of this trend has led to many people being unemployed and living without any job hence their living standards have ended up declining (Lippman, 2008). The educational specialists have already seen this problem that is existing in the society and has got incorporated among the next two decades goals towards the actualization of vision 2030. The social pillar developed mainly geared towards equipping learners with a possible education that is likely to make entirely them job creators and not job seekers. The entrepreneurial move is one way of fighting the alarming indices of unemployment that experienced at a global scope. Students will no longer focus on the theoretical academic works, but technical and practical aspect will get incorporated. The teachers will become assessors and role models to the students as a way of motivating the young generation to pursue and take learning seriously. Instances of examination irregularities will also decline and this shall see most of the students and parents gaining more believe on the strength of the nations academic programs. Electronic marking and grading will ensure that the learner is in a position to get the results of the paper done within a short duration. In regard to the government expectation, the government plays a significant role towards ensuring a full connectivity of internet and free Wi-Fi and Li-Fi technologies on long term basis is a crucial priority towards the transformation of the education sector. The accessibility of high-speed network connectivity will help learners in conducting research at ease. The interaction between instructors and students via the platforms such as Google enabled amongst others are likely to get developed will also be fast. Unlike the current situation where education gets limited to only 8-12 hours per day, in the next 20 years, students will be in a position to interact with experts for 24hours. The use of the internet will enable one instructor to handle many students as applications. The example of that is Skype, Facebook, Twitter will get developed, and students will quickly communicate with their teachers and get the study exercises as well as desired guidance (Al-Gahtani, 2014). As a result, the education board will find it easy to allocate resources and group learning facilitators in appropriate combinations and shifts that will enable them to deliver to the students irrespective of their geographical distances of separation with the learners. The manipulation of technological infrastructure to accommodate the use of mobile phones in learning shall be made in a professional manner to ensure that configuration is made easy. The use of technology is anticipated to make automatic network configurations to phones so that one can learn irrespective of wherever s/he is provided that has an access to a phone. As a way moving towards meeting informational symmetry in all departments and sectors of the economy, the education systems will be developed in a manner that they will enable flexibility. The current rigidity of the education systems will be done away with, and students get the opportunity to make a combination of various educational programs aimed at encouraging specialization. For example, a student pursuing a course in tourism will get the opportunity to learn driving at the same time as a way of ensuring that both skills get impacted concurrently. The process will limit the duration one could have taken while studying the two separately and as a result the time spend on enhancing the skill adoption shall get narrowed down. The experts will also be able to alter the education curriculum due to the changes experienced in the society. Evolution is so dynamic, and the dynamism of the cultural, political and economic trends is ending up rendering some programs irrelevant in the job market in this current system (Agarwal, & Winkler, 2015). The result of this will be an emergent of a new academic cirricumulum that will emphasize on the need of matching ones ability with his/her desires and capability. The curriculum shall encourage specialization in accordance with ones talent and not just learning for formality purposes. It will mark a new dawn and tremendous changes in the education sector as opposed to the current days where rigidity takes the core dominance. As a result of the flexibility and diversity that is likely to get experienced, a transformation in the education sector is likely to occur and instances of obsoleteness shall decline. Many people have ended up getting wasted by the current educational systems, and this is an issue that takes a critical focus towards establishing a sustainable society. The infrastructure, as well as the relevant technologies that will get embraced, shall ensure that the flexibility of the education system is for the benefit of the citizens of not only America and Saudi Arabia but the whole world. In the next 20 years, education will be made a routine exercise, and young children will get initiated in the academic programs in their early stages. It will be one way of ensuring that no school dropout incidences get reported. Conclusion The embrace of technologies in the educational systems in both America and Saudi Arabia will play a significant role in streamlining the education sector. The future of education in the next 20 years will get bright and instances of unemployment due to poor education curriculum adoption will no longer arise. Parents and teachers will get to full involved in the move towards fighting illiteracy and the spread of immoral issues that undermine the quality and progressiveness of the education imparted to learners. The culture of equipping learners with technical competence will rise, and this shall result in the emergent of numerous entrepreneurs. References Agarwal, V. B., &Winkler, D. R. (2015).
