 For instance, deforestation has led to increased emissions of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere that was previously stored in vegetation. State the city, state (province) and country (if not the U.S.A.) where your family lives (not at U-Tampa) and you were raised; Kuwait is located on the Arabian Gulf; the country is made up of the mostly flat desert. The climate of Kuwait can be severe, with freezing and scalding temperatures. The increased temperatures in Kuwait are a result of increased industrialization and urbanization. However, some researchers have said that the raised temperatures are not a result of automation.

Identify two (2) environmental issues local to your home of origin and how/ whether or not your local and state/provincial/federal government is addressing these issues. Kuwait has numerous environmental issues that are severely affecting its biophysical ecosystem, as well as human health. Rapid industrialization and careless ecological oversight have resulted in these issues. One of the significant issues is desertification which has remained a severe problem. The government of Kuwait are taking measures to address this problem by restoring the desert lands to forests. Another major issue affecting Kuwait is the increased pollution. The different forms of pollution have increased with the growth of industrialization. The government is taking precautions to ensure this issue does not exceed the limit. Therefore, the government is setting up a pollutant treatment infrastructure that adequately addresses this issue.
