Globalization and Global Perspective Issues Introduction Globalization is becoming a serious issue on the growth and development of different companies worldwide. In our rapidly changing society, companies need to come together and aim at reaching at one main objective. Therefore, because of this idea my company is eager to collaborate with a state owned enterprise. Doing so would enhance the two ventures to come together and lay down different policies, to raise the economy of the marching ventures since coming up with different ideas leads to globalization (Masaki, 47). In doing so, my company would encounter several new issues. These are some of thematic areas my venture would come into. New technology and infrastructure: This new idea allowed for foreign investments where restrictions were put initially. More so, it encouraged exports to other countries and removed the domestic monopolies. New technology promoted free trade between the two ventures. Small governance system: few officials govern the venture there. This would reduce corruption and mismanagement of funds. In addition, it reduces the expenses of the governance budget and hence saves capital to be used to widen the company’s income. More so, it promoted transparency in making decisions governing the venture hence leading to efficient use of capital. Economic progress: The Company has to realize how trading activities could be expanded using different ways. First, energy production could be raised to avoid the dependence of the country on foreign power. More so, selling of goods into diverse markets also promoted economic income. Political economy: The government in Qataris national parliament holds meetings severally throughout the year. There are sessions done between weeks just to prepare for the real meetings. In Qatar, to be, a member of a business company is not a full time occupation, unlike the other countries. Therefore, it clearly shows that the members of a business venture have to have another profession somewhere in order to earn a living. In Qatar, frequent referendums are done to stabilize the company’s political economy. Referendums increase the stability of a venture, for instance, companies are less restricted to changes and the members on the other hand, no restriction to bring out their views on the changes to the venture (Prahalad, 38). There is no need to fire a company after it has made losses, since the referendum would solve such problems. The key challenge faced by Qatar is the way to come up with a balance between the internal stability and the regional stability. This happens so because threats usually come from the regional conflicts rising from the Middle East. Political stability: This indeed cannot be a much defect in our venture’s stability. Qataris political stability is not much different from our company. Qatar being a democracy, which follows the constitutional affairs, it qualifies to be one of the universe oldest democracies. This has led to the very stable government in Qatar (Banton, 56).Competition from the state owned enterprises: This is the main idea in the overall purpose. Here, the managers have a history of getting what they need. They have enough money to make sure that they make profits by using them at the state enterprises. Following such an environment, the company requires to advocate for enough government interference to see that they become successful. If not so, then we also require requesting for those benefits if at all we are to compete fairly. This technique was applicable during the massive depression and it can be applicable at the period of massive recession. National cultures: The new world has far much wiped out the effects of national cultures. The culture differences have leaved the effects of globalization. Throughout the history, fellows have often traded and organized deals at the same time, pursuing their own duties. There has been no importance from the history for the trading partners to share their goals and values. However, the world business is rapidly changing, and anytime companies from different countries enter into combined ventures, deliberate alliances, achievements, and amalgamations, this situation changes. Whenever global companies unite with other worldwide companies, or take over confined businesses, they may find themselves in unknown region. The diverse goals and connotations of the relations in the congregation countries may have sympathetic effects on their hold goals and expectations. Strategic alliances often fall dumpy of their promise, joint ventures drain resources, intercontinental acquisitions are resold, and mergers announced with eagerness. Religious effects: The interdisciplinary aspect of globalization and religion can be seen in the an increasing use of communication technologies to lend religious values either into harmony fiscal clashes Expertise within the span of religious globalization plays a chief role in how and to where the religion and its principles extends. Human society has never been exclusive of technology and has relied upon the impending of scientific advances in order to move on its own communal branches. It can be stated that individual civilization at several point in history was with no religion and had no reason to generate one. Up until the period of global ascendancy by the human race, it was essential to set up a worldwide form of living and thoughts due to the overgrowing want to control and influence the minds and hearts of citizens all over. Emerging markets: With the opening of borders to do business and overseas investments, globalization brings chances and pressures for household firms in up-and-coming market economies to innovate and advance their spirited position (Hanksworth, 71). Economists tend to victor the positive effects of globalization and antagonism. Nevertheless, economy theory has been indistinguishable about the consequence of contest on modernization. Our basic judgment in these changeover economies is that firms with marketplace power are the innovators in expressions of their invention and expertise. Corruption: Corruption demoralizes the prospective benefits of globalization. For instance, it raises the risks and costs of burden production in a given country, hence chasing away the foreign capital. It more so influences foreign aid. A rationalization that is often used is that corruption in rising countries improves profits distribution. It is necessary to note that lawmaking and monetary institutions that are scrawny offer a breeding floor in which corruption can nurture, thereby cancelling out the feasible remunerations of globalization. Poverty: Globalization has assisted the standard of living for many citizens worldwide. Hi-tech advances not only profit wealthy countries most, but also better-off companies. Technological advancements permit countries and their company’s international publicity and manipulate when they are triumphant. Efficient countries and businesses are simply the most scientifically advanced. Power of unreasonable people: The globe that we exist today is because of a number of cultures coming mutually. One of the majority powerful effects of globalization on men and women both is the spread of schooling. Due to the improved technology in Qatar, our business would improve following diverse benefits in the new environment. For instance, research activities would be enhanced due to the high security found there. Good and quality products would be produced and hence attracting more customers (Elkington, 58). In addition, technology would ease the management of the enterprise like keeping of the records, monitoring employees and even keeping track of the terrorists and thieves. Since the country is interested in adopting new technologies my venture is rest assured of a bright future, as new technology definitely will favor the activities carried out in the company. However, due to a stiff competition in Qatar our company ought to employ new and innovated ideas to corp. with the rising competition. In addition, the officials require employing qualified personnel to aid in the production of high quality products. Qatar’s political stability also favors the activities of the business. There is peace and tranquility, which allows smooth running of the venture. This peace allows foreigners to come and invest in the country. This increases the economy of the country hence raising the living standards. These would in turn lead to a high purchasing power hence increase in the number of customers. The political environment affects directly the economic system of a country. Since Qatar has a democratic political system, it has led to the development of a capitalistic economic system. In this context, capitalistic economic system are directly associated with the element of free enterprise. Therefore, this aspect determines the production quantity, and the purchase interest or trend portrayed among the targeted consumers. Therefore, this means that the company will be in a position to produce according to their ability and more so the customers will buy the products according to their wants. The prevailing political forces in Qatar’s business environment dictate towards the attainment of a mature democratic system. Consequently, this status results into a corresponding attainment of mature free enterprises. Cultural practices more so influence the economic practices of a society. As a result, the same cultural principles influences business practices. Therefore, this means that typical business practices like consumer behavior are directly related to the underlying cultural values subscribed by the members of any given society (Kegley, 72). In the context of Qatar’s business environment, cultural values adopted by the Qataris consumers are based on their cultural principles. Therefore, this means that the company’s production line ought to go hand in hand with the Qataris cultural values and hence this leads to the satisfaction of consumers fully. Therefore, by applying the above-mentioned issues, the company would reduce its demand for unnecessary expenses. This could result into reduced interest, thus raising the growth rate of the economy. On the other hand, lowering the demand for goods would lead to fewer profits hence the company declines (Robertson, 43). The issues mentioned are worth one’s attention. The small governance system for instance, ought to be given much attention as several companies who have chosen to ignore it have been doing something akin to searching in the dark. Lastly, Political stability also cannot be ignored. If recent happenings in the region can be deduced from, Qatar should expect its share of demonstration at some point. Works cited Banton, Michael.
