ID No. Individuality and Community Introduction Human beings are intellectuals who can cope and endure different kinds of situations which would not be possible for other creatures within the global context. However, despite the ability to survive under all situations, people have different perception over issues, and even the same issue which can be attributed to intellect. The situations that an individual encounters may not make sense to the community as a whole. However, the reverse also takes place when a community embraces an issue or event which is opposed by individuals who cannot grasp its impact on the future (Alfonso 18). Considering the information obtained from pamphlets and other articles that focus on artists, it is important to consider not only the information that authors perceive with regard to the targeted audience but also the other writers (Will and Semmelroth 31). When a new book is launched, students may pose questions as to the impact of that book to scholars (Terence 27). It is not proper though to judge the book by its cover, but still, people may not consider the situation that any one would not be able to arrive at a decision besides his or her own decision (27). This is a fact that derails the moral concept that could be derived from documentaries from other scholars. Hence, evidence has shown that any scholarly information could only be perceived positively by the original audience whom the documentary is dedicated (Peter 56). This paper aims to determine the rationale on why perfect work is important to the original audience compared to the untargeted audience who may endure within the time limits while they are already fully withdrawn from the event. Individuality and Community Community is a term that describes a social class of individuals joined by a common distinct obligation. A community includes a social class of people who tend to argue in the same manner over events. This kind of group that has developed a way of thinking that would at times hinder viable projects which may be of great help to the community (Eric 47). Despite having a common perception, few individuals within a community are likely to argue in a different way either against or in support of new ideas, but their decision may not affect that of the communality due to lack of quorum (Pieter 85). The geographic coverage of a community limits developmental perception, hence most people within a community tend to be specifically focused toward the same direction and are not ready to admit the truth from their colleagues in the minority, the de facto group (Will and Semmelroth 39). Belonging to a community has both positive and negative effects. However, when the community embraces events that lead to development which could be arrived at after a thorough brainstorming, the whole community would benefit from the outcome (Hal 52). Nevertheless, in order to convince a community on the positive effects of accepting a new idea that would improve their livelihood, you have to spare time to call for a few meetings which would not happen when dealing with individuals at personal levels (Lynn and Sagan 11). Implementing Positive Change The whole process of implementing a positive change to a community requires a lot of time, dedication and endurance so as to have a positive impact on the community. To some extent, the community members may not understand the reasons behind implementation of projects in the community. However, after commissioning the project, the same community members who are fond of opposing any new idea would be on the forefront in accepting the outcome of the projects (Maurizio 43). However, taking into consideration the situations where specific communities are perceived to be involved in illegal activities, most of the time, an individual may suffer innocently due to poor relationships with the authorities and hence, lowering his or her chances of receiving offers that would transform the community as a whole. Under such situations it would then be worthless to belong to a community (Eric 57). When an individual who is well off is staying in a locality where the living standards are low, there are chances of receiving threats due to perception that such an individual is wealthy. Accumulating resources may not necessarily mean that an individual is well off but it all depends on perception and ability to save part of an individual’s income. This would greatly affect the minority group who is gifted in scheming and reading between the lines to determine an approach that would facilitate attainment of its objective (Pieter 92). Belonging to a Community Despite negative perception about what it means to belong to a community, it all depends on the traits of the community members. You may realize that different communities behave differently towards situation and events that befall them (Hal 56). Since a community is made up of individuals, every community exhibits the traits of individuals that thrive within it. However, within a community, there are still different classes of individuals who form small groups that can be evaluated to determine how the community relates with other communities. After the community members identify themselves within their social classes it would be obvious that community members can describe themselves within and outside the community (Terence 33). However, the community may not take into consideration the negative aspects of its existence, such as the level of security within the community, thus, it does not create a better perception to the outside world. To confirm this, both the outsiders and community members’ perception should be argued out to determine the real picture within specific communities (Eric 64). More often than not, members of the community are used to the situation within the community that they need to be informed of the situation to sense the increasing alarm. However, before an individual stays for a long duration within a community, he or she may encounter difficulties in adapting to the daily chores and survival strategies existent within the community. In addition, being identified with a community is also an important aspect of life that could increase the rate at which the individual may settle within the community (Will and Semmelroth 44). Settling Within the Community More often than not, residents from other communities are afraid of staying in foreign surroundings late at night which would be the opposite if they would have the chance of staying within their own communities. Despite the fear and insecurity with life threatening factors, people believe that specific communities within which they are identified as more friendly and provide the care that they need (Pieter 109). This would enhance rapport between individuals and the community, a perception that is believed to affect every member of the community. Positive and Negative Perception about Communities After considering both the positive and negative perception about communities, it can be concluded that only the community members who are used to the routines of a specific community can adapt (Peter 74). Despite being members of the same ethnic group, security is still an issue that requires a lot of sensibilities in order to communally accept each other as far as the community is concerned. Good rapport should also exist among the different communities, which can facilitate their advancement as a group to comprise a nation (Alfonso 22). The communal description of the surrounding communities may not be pleasing since the community can be best described through each member of the community. Since childhood, individuals become aware of their mistakes through societal norms. However, when an individual is approached by either wrong or right information, other source of information must be sought so that a convincing answer would be arrived at. Wring information is baseless and does not last longer. An individual should be able to choose the path to follow based on community social codes of conduct (David 8). Being an individual in contemporary society is highly recommended so that people learn to take care of themselves, although at times it could be difficult to operate individually due to the high cost of living. Many people tend to rely on other individuals so that they do not feel the pain and difficulty that is experienced by the jobless youth. However, it is advisable that individuals operate solely or in small groups within communities, this would avoid petty offences that may arise from the different areas within communities (Pieter 117). Due to diversity, people are able to communicate through a series of channels which are meant for satisfactory communication so that individual. This way, individuals do not have to move from place to another in order to exchange ideas (Maurizio 16). Individuality When considering the qualities on individualism, an individual should be self reliant, obedient, and a positive thinker with the ability to come up with new perceptions that would enhance growth and development. This would greatly influence the move to attain the Millennium Development Goals which is embraced by committed member countries with personalities which are able not only to recommend but also advise individuals accordingly (Maurizio 32). When considering individuals who have operated individually towards their success irrespective of community background, the renowned international figures like Tiger Woods, Wayne Rooney, Thierry Henry and Michael Jordan, among others, have solely managed to be what they are. If they would have demanded for community support so as to be able to attain their career objectives, then such prominent individuals would be able to restore the devastated global economy (Will and Semmelroth 49). From discussion on individuality, we realized that there is a lot to be desired when an individual acts solely. However, this was realized when we consider numerous projects that an individual could handle instead of mingling with friends all over the community without a common goal (Hal 61). When people operate in a group, they tend to have a group leader whom according to the group is believed to be making a lot of money or receiving support from the parents and other individuals with various sources of obtaining livelihood (Terence 54). Statistics Through statistics, it is clear that most people who have greatly succeeded in life never operated in group because a global community is different from an individual, and making it difficult for people operating in groups to succeed. According to studies, education has also greatly created a good rapport with both support staff and fellow colleagues at the working station (Peter 124). Every person should have a work group; this will assist in determining the personal strengths and weaknesses to assure the people within specified community to enhance trust (Will and Semmelroth 2002). Conclusion From the sources being considered, it would appear that individuality is a better way to stay within a community other than appearing in large groups or communities. Trust can only be created upon an individual on his or her own or as a representative of the group. Parents would trust the child as an individual. On the global scale, leaders of other nations would also endow trust upon the leader on another nation as an individual. A work derived from course text is important since it is especially designed for that particular audience. Relevance of the work would remain in the future even if there were a new group if that group would fit within the description of the original targeted audience.
