Unacceptable governance IntroductionBeing the most persuasive, category arguments feature in position papers and essays. The comprehensive argument has at least five parts, the introduction, the narration, the confirmation, the refutation and the conclusion. The arrangements on the part of the argument are logical so as ease the transition in thought.Claim:Colonists focus on unacceptable governance goes/does not go into the category of governed focus on unacceptable governance because it has / does not have the criteria of colonists focus on unacceptable governance:1.

He calls together a legislative body at unusual, uncomfortable, and distant places in order to fatigue members and make them comply with his measures.

A common comfortable meeting place for legislators symbolizes good government. The King of Great BritainLiterature provides enough evidence of the King calling meetings at remote places.“He has assembled legislative bodies surprisingly at unusual places, deplorable, and away from reach to their documented public Records, with the aim of tiring them into complying with his stringent measures.”5. He repeatedly dissolves representative houses for firmly opposing his invasions on people’s right.

A responsible government permits different views from the house representatives. The King of Great BritainThe king dissolved several houses on opposing his peoples’ right invasions.“He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.”ConclusionCategory argument has a criteria match structure. The criteria section illustrates and explains the criteria while the match section persuades the reader that the example meets the criteria.

An example of category argument is Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence. There are three criteria used and several points to match the criteria. The importance of category arguments is that it acknowledges and builds on distinction in theories of coordination, binding and discontinuities.Works citedThe Declaration of Independence http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/index.htmFlateby, Teresa L.
