We conducted a survey on campus at random sample subjecting all the students and staffs on equal chance to be sampled. A sample of N= 60 students was taken; the following are the variables in the data set; Age graccup, Sex and Cyberbullied All the variables are qualitative in nature with ordinal attributes as they rank the variables. The variable Age group is operationalized by response of the age set brackets response answer. For the Sex variable we operationalize with response of either male or female denoted by “1” or “0”; while the variable Cyberbullied is operationalized by the response Never, bullied or always.
To adhere to the code of conduct in research practice and design the rights of participants was observed by obtaining the consents of participants and we explained the reasons the study (Coolican, 2014). From Table 1.1 shows sample proportions n = 20 and from Table 1.2 the test indicates that its significant X2 (2 , 60) = 2.1, P = .35. The results indicate that the more than 66% of the respondents were bullied. The Table 1.3 indicates unequal sample proportions the and its significance X2 (2, 37) = 11.95, P = .003 it indicates that the observed frequency is higher than expected frequency it an indication that most bullied are female.
On refining the testes further, Table 1.5 shows that age of female has unequal proportions and it significance X2 (2, 16) = 24.8, P = .000. It shows that the observed frequency is higher than expected frequency in Always bullied; an indication that the
