The major reason of this increase in the temperature is the emissions of the green house gases. I have taken the article “Global Warming: Climate Change due to Global warming” written by ‘Nathalie Fiset’. The article summarizes the problems that are faced due to the global warming and climate change. The article depicts the future of the earth regarding the current condition and the consequences like the natural disasters created by the Global warming and climate change. It is reported that most of the mountain glaciers, which have been observed for the past 150 years have been decreased.
These glaciers are highly effected from the global warming, and those glaciers are affected which are located in the lower latitudes. Because of the global warming many glaciers are vanishing from its place. If these glaciers are continue to be decrease, the areas which, totally depend on mountain water sheds can highly be affected. If the condition of global warming continues, many of the glaciers which, you can see now will be demolish in 2100. Level of sea increased because of the increase of temperature, resulting a melting of glaciers.
From the past 100 years, level of sea has been increased from the 10 cm to 25 cm. It is reported that in the next 100 years, level of sea will be increased from the 15cm to 95cm. . It not changing suddenly on the contrary, it is happening slowly. It has been reported that there is a large alteration in the rain patterns of the earth, as in some regions of the world, there are massive rains that cause flood every year and in some other regions droughts caused the scarcity of water and food sources.
In this way, the distribution of the fresh water sources in the world remains unjustified. The increase in the temperature may certainly increase the humidity and thus more rain fall is expected throughout the year. However, the melting of the glaciers will increase the average sea level consuming the dry land. The whole process will increase the intensity and frequency of the floods, storms, and all other factors related to the rain falls. However, due to the lack of forestation, there will be nor medium to resist the strong winds and floods.
In the other section of the article a phenomenon that is named as the ‘El Nino’ is discussed. The writers views that the frequency as well as the intensity of the phenomenon will increase many times. Many countries in various regions of the world will face the harsh effects of the phenomenon and it would be a difficult job to make predictions on the environment. The need of the time is to take immediate steps towards this major concern of the world. Not only humans are affected by the climate change but also the other plants and the animal species of the world.
In this way, in order to protect the biodiversity of the world, there is a need to take individual as well as global steps to made clear reduction in the global temperatures. Global warming is the major issue in the world today. There is a need
