I will present the development of a user model for a specific group of the users. The basic aim behind the development of such system is to access the requirements from the users of the system. This user module will be helpful to get access and measure the strengths and weaknesses of one person. In this paper I will also talk about the user modeling implementation and working. Introduction The aim of this analysis report is to access the basic user models development and their assessment. User modeling is one of the main techniques regarding assessment of user requirements, needs and features that they want in the new system. In several systems we need to embed some features those are targeted to only that particular class of the users. This report is also targeting a particular class of users to module, design, and develops the system. User Model The user model holds the intact data and information that the system recognizes regarding the user. It is normally initialized either by means of default values or through questioning the user. After that, it is retained through the system, while the user can be capable to weigh up as well as edit their profile. User procedures and actions at a variety of abstract levels, like that task achievement, mouse clicks as well as requirements for assistance, are described through the user interface or foundation user application to the client profile. An analysis of these attributes incorporates the user profile using further models of the system to get hold of innovative or new "facts" regarding the user. This analysis is able to renovate the user profile by means of the resulting particulars or start an accomplishment in the application (Tecnodiscap, 2004). User modeling corresponds to the latest built user interface design. Equally spotlight on user requirements, as well as normally employ a wide-ranging research for the project domain. In customary user idea design, though, the effect is a particular user interface specified at system design time, while user modeling intended for adaptive edges construct a set of rules and models for building the user interface on run time. At the time of the system development, system designers model the system user individuality to be captured with the discrepancy of the user interface (Martínez-Normand, 2007). Developing User Model In this section I will develop a user model for a particular user. Here we will assume that person facing difficulties in using a computer. Here I will create a user’s simple profile that could be applied to that person. Aspect of user Score / 10 Comments Handling User interface 4/10 User got user interface more complex Working scenario 2/10 Working scenario is not according to user requirements Working position 6/10 Fine working position Interaction style 3/10 Medium Interest level Visual perception 2/10 This user has poor visual skills Auditory perception 5/10 Good skills Working memory 8/10 Good skills Long-term memory 8/10 Good skills Response skills 6/10 Good skills Perception 4/10 Have medium perception level Emotional status 3/10 Immediately changing emotional status Interest Level 2/10 Less interest level Responsibility Level 5/10 Medium Responsibility Level Experienced user 2/10 This user is an inexperienced IT user Designing User interface Now I will design a user interface that will incorporate different user interaction weakness and qualities. Here we need an interface that can match the needs of the users with diverse abilities and weaknesses. For instance, in this interface we need to incorporate the mechanism that can accomplish the above given scenarios. Here we have sight (GOOD), hearing (POOR), concentration (POOR) and manual dexterity (GOOD). In these circumstances the user interface needs to integrate the interface qualities that can fulfill the user specified scenarios. In this user interface we need to construct deep concentration through the effective use of colors and active interactive interaction. In this way user will take interest in the overall working and system handling. This user interface will incorporate better auditory qualities to make the system more useful to take the user interest. Here user can face problem in only user hearing and concentration for this we can incorporate a good mix of auditory and interactive visual interface that provides the user an easy way to work with the system. User modeling User modeling is a sub region of HCI (human computer interaction) that is used by the designer/ researcher to build up the cognitive models of computer users, encompassing modeling of their abilities as well as declarative perceptive. User’s models are able to anticipate human faults as well as learning time, and also able to proffer a less costly choice to user testing. The techniques of the user modeling are able to direct user interface designers to reduce fault rates as well as learning time1 From the technological standpoint, the development of easy to use to interactive computer systems demand user modeling as well as better user interface adjustment: no particular user interface will suit each user. Values are also useful in this area. They can be used to illustrate standardized user profiles terms to be employed in user modeling as well as adaptive systems (Martínez-Normand, 2007. User modeling is a topic that is governed after the research of the numerous years of experience. The main purpose of the user modeling is to build up user-centered system that can fulfill all the most important requirements of the user regarding the user interface and system developments. The scenario of the user’s acceptance has turned out to be one of the main aspects to find out the accomplishment of the system and interface development. If the system is intended to be generally purposeful, then it will have to surround a diverse set of users as well as regulate to accomplish their requirements in case they transform. By the plan of serving practitioners to develop their system and user modeling practice, a number of explorations need to establish (Tecnodiscap, 2004). Conclusion In this paper I have presented the detailed analysis of the user modeling of a user interface development and system development. Here I have tried to develop a user model for a specific group of the users. Here I have outlined the main user modeling concepts and its associated features. The user modeling is the only best way to access the user requirements regarding the better system development and implementation. References 1. Martínez-Normand, L. 2007.
