?Social Responsibility Record of a Business/Product The social responsibility that will be discussed here is of an energy drink which is on the upsurge within the different nations of the world. It is known by the name of Kickstart Energy Drink. This Kickstart Energy Drink is equally famous amongst age groups between 12 and 25 years. In essence, the younger generation is the one that is the main target audience for the energy drink which has become a hit within its audience. The energy drink has a very socially responsive role within its entirety. This is because it wants to inculcate a sense of optimism within its target audience as well as the people who are its secondary audience. The Kickstart Energy Drink means business when it wants to reach out to the people who would not be its direct bearers in terms of the sale that is being made. Tree plantation drives are held by the energy drink as the company feels that it has to tell the people at large the message of planting more saplings and trees so that the environment could be cleaned in essence. It is undertaking such efforts because there is a dire need to set things right within the regional landscapes which Kickstart Energy Drink is targeting at this point in time. The people believe that the steps undertaken by the energy drink company are in line with its vision and mission where the two pointers stress heavily on setting things right for the long term equations of growth, productivity and development. This is because the efforts and endeavors will turn a new leaf within the understanding of the people who should play their dire role within the understanding of nature that surrounds them and which they are a vital part of (Mirvis, 2010). What is even more interesting to note here is the fact that Kickstart Energy Drink stresses staunchly on other socially responsive activities more and more. It has been able to showcase its true strength in the form of reaching out to new target audiences which span the entire world. Other initiatives that have been undertaken by the Kickstart Energy Drink include the walk-a-thons which are aimed at making people aware of the positives related with walking by foot and making less use of vehicles and motor cars so that carbon monoxide emissions could be curtailed immensely. This is one step that is also under the aegis of reducing pollution in this world – a need that has been analyzed upon in-depth by the energy drink company. This is also one of the basic reasons why Kickstart Energy Drink is giving its best towards cultivating human linkages across the board, as there is a dire need to link up the human beings with one another so that they can grow and develop in an amiable way (Chen, 2011). This has been done so that the people become aware of the negativities that exist within a society and which need to be taken care of at the earliest. The efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Kickstart Energy Drink are laudable more so because all of these endeavors are aimed at bringing some form of sanity within the related ranks of the human beings present on the face of this earth. Furthermore, the social responsibility record of Kickstart Energy Drink is such that it gives room to the people to grow across the board. This is manifested in the form of comprehending how young ones are allowed a chance to exploit their relevant basis by donating free books and school related supplies to the catastrophic areas on a regular basis. The energy drink company has a clear cut vision that it must be ready and willing to lend an ear to the worries and problems of the people at large and this is needed to be done through courteous efforts and endeavors which are brought to the fore through its actions (Moir, 2001). The energy drink company has also undertaken activities to rehabilitate the people whenever they have been left homeless at the hands of floods, earthquakes, landslides, storms, famines or any other calamity that has stuck them. This is because it wants to give them a feeling that the Kickstart Energy Drink is with them no matter how tough or trying the circumstances turn out to be. The energy drink company is therefore very socially active because it wants to tell the people that it does not merely sell the energy drink but also has a definitive role within their lives. The top management domains within the energy drink company understand that they need to showcase who they are through their actions and deeds. This is essential at telling the people that they are honest and forthright within their dealings, and that they mean harmony for the people all around the world. A caring attitude is manifested by the Kickstart Energy Drink as it wants to remain proactive within its dealings and suggest a way forward in a positive light all said and done. The role played by the top management is therefore very significant (Galbreath, 2009). This is because the community needs to be sent a positive message all the way through. If this is done, harmony across the board is ensured. However, if such initiatives are not encouraged, it will mean that the Kickstart Energy Drink is not acting as a single unit. This would mean anarchy of sorts which is simply termed unacceptable by the people who are at the pivotal positions within the company. In the end, it would be fair to state that the Kickstart Energy Drink is undertaking efforts in the right direction. This will guarantee success at the end of the day which remains something very achievable and attainable for the company at large. Thus the role of the stakeholders and end consumers is cut out when one understands the dictum of work ethos at Kickstart Energy Drink.
