A casino is a place which has assured several types of activities majorly in gambling. Casinos are mostly situated near tourist attraction. A full service hotel is an enterprise that provides many amenities. Examples are lodges, paid on a short-term basis, and mini -bars. In most cases, casinos are always placed near or within tourist attraction sites so as to attract more customers. Traditional full service hotels are some of the tourist attractions that are placed near casinos. In the traditional full service hotels, the employees are on average educated to put forward excellent services in the rooms which are cleaning and bed making.

A number of them are expertly taught in cookery services and a few are taught to put forward dedicated services these are spa, fitness services and massage in the gymnasium. Additional to that, staff members operating in casino resort hotels are qualified to teach ball games and table wagering games. Apart from that they are as well taught to support customers playing games in the casino resort hotel. In the traditional full service hotels, drinks and food have to be paid for before being consumed.

In comparison with a casino where food and drinks are equally bought, one can evade this by merely playing a game and might end up winning a drink or food voucher. Such opportunities are used to attract people to gamble. Reservations are done in traditional full service hotels. These might be table reservations and room reservations. For example, one might be having a small meeting and decides to reserve a few tables with a charge. In casinos, such reservations do not exit. In fact most people are found standing in casinos since there are very few sits dedicated majorly for those playing games.

In a casino resort, the surveillance team goes through thorough training in order to keep the casino in check. The surveillance team goes through all the departments in the casinio and learns how they operate so as to keep their surveillance in check. A surveillance trainee has to master all the information in the departments and create a well-built relationship with the security personnel. The overall goal of the surveillance team is to guard the security of the customers, the staff members and the firm’s possessions.

The training takes up to ten days so as to provide a strong base of responsiveness that will build an advanced of quality of property so as the casino may operate well. A traditional full service hotel also a security personnel team but it is not as tenacious as the casino. In most full service hotels, the security team is out sourced from different security firms. Unlike the thorough training that the surveillance team goes through, the security team in a hotel goes through training but it is less tasking.

Most security guards are not placed in the hotel rooms instead surveillance cameras are majorly used. From this, we learn that the security level in a casino resort is much tenser than that of a traditional full service hotel. Works Cited Kilby, Jim, Jim Fox, and Anthony F. Lucas.
