The Ensemble Theater achieved this aspect, making “Creditor” to be the most interesting play that I have ever watched. According to the play, Adolph was going through experiences that most people go through. The play was able to transform the character’s experience into an everyday situation. After watching the play, I realized that nobody is perfect. I also realized that most people exist in denial by covering their problems from the world.
Ensemble theatre has a modern stage that can be modified to incorporate any kind of play according to the expectations of the viewers and the audience. The stage was set to describe a scene in a middle-income neighbourhood where Adolph and his lover lived. The theatre also had an extraordinary lighting system that resonated appropriately with the sight of an ordinary person. In addition, actors in the play wore designer costumes that reflected their roles in the play and different positions in society. Although I did not have any firsthand experience with the play, I had considerable experience with the play from second-hand sources before I went to the theatre. Watching the play reemphasized my experiences with play. In addition, watching the play enabled me to link different themes illustrated in the play with a real-life situations. The theatre play also enabled me to have critical thoughts about different characters that took part in the original play. Finally, the setting of the play was harmonious. This implies that every aspect of the play’s stage setting corresponded with each other. This aspect created harmony in the entire play and enhanced the interest of the audience.
The play had several unforgettable episodes. However, the moment when Jack received secret advice on how to gain dominance in his relationship was the most interesting. In the play, jack represented Adolph while Peter played the role of Gustav. The two characters describe what most men go through in their daily relationships, particularly with women. The act demonstrated that men live in a world of denial although they appreciate useful information. Understanding women is a useful piece of information that a man can get. Although men value such information they always want to treat it as a secret affair. During the episode, Jack did not express that the information that he received from Peter was unknown to him. Although jack did not know how to treat his dominating woman, he did not show to the public that he had an actual problem. The episode proves that men will always try to cover their problems from the public by failing to enquire about a solution.
