In the Fortune global list, it is the second largest company. It is the largest proprietor with two million staff employees. Walton’s family members own the business cooperation, and it turns out to be the well-known company in the world. The company headquarters is in Bentonville. This company is the biggest grocery company in America, which makes huge profits by selling retail goods (Lichtenstein, 2009).
In its websites, the company displays 8,500 supplies in 15 states, in 55 special identities (Lichtenstein, 2009). The business works with the Wal-Mart identify in the America, comprising the 50 countries. The company reported implantation of several environmental procedures in 2005. These measures were developed to increase efficient use of energy and reduce air pollution within the corporation (Lichtenstein, 2009). The companies also established other three companies Taxes, Colorado, Nevada as experimental store for selling its products (Lichtenstein, 2009).

The company introduced a new marketing slogan in 2007, which was used to market their products in different states (Lichtenstein, 2009). A lot of research was conducted during this time to improve its marketing strategies. In January 2011, a new nutritional worth of its goods were introduced that advocated for less fatty foods. A delivery system was finally introduced to offer delivery services to the clients after purchasing goods from the store (Lichtenstein, 2009). Other important strategies that might help the organization in a competitive environment are to increase in internet services especially in marketing strategies or techniques, and the campy should look at their company’s policies that discriminate people in terms of gender and color (Lichtenstein, 2009).
They should conduct research and look at how they incorporated foreign goods within their company. They should consider employee compensation to increase their productivity, and improve their working conditions.
