The report looks at the overall working of the radio system and it further contains a list of requirements and the methodology of how to implement the whole setup

Introduction:
Radio signals are operational over line-of-sight through the use of an amplifier, in case of non-line-of-sight reflections and rarefaction techniques are used. Although an ad-hoc system setup can be implanted however, for permanent and reliable communication a structured body is always advisable to make use of CDMA/FDMA/TDMA/3GPP. A multi-radio setup is advised for full duplexed transmission, another advantage of the multi-radio system is it can transmit over two channels at the same time. This all will take place in a Mesh Topology. Frequency equalization and controlling are done through Digital signal processors or software packages.

The first and most important step in designing a radio system is to select the frequency band that is to be used for transmission; they range from VHF to UHF band. Licensing authority of Canada allocates the respective frequency band. The selection of a frequency band is subjective and depends on several factors including the locality of the station, based on the locality the choice of the frequency band is made. For plain areas, VHF suffices normally, for more hilly areas and overcrowded parts Ultra High-frequency band selection is advisable. The repeater is an essential part of the whole setup and will be implemented at different sights, for this purpose ARS (Automatic Repeater Stations) is implemented.

A coverage map is usually used for line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight elements. Interference is always a concern and is the destructive meeting of two signals, it could result from various factors, both internal and external. Several computer-run programs are available that will help determine further interference from all sources. A studio transmitter link is an essential component of the whole system that enables the connection between the base station and receiving end.STL serves well in the case of Non –line sight transmission, Concept of multiple radios is an associated term and its advantages are improved performance and power consumption, and multiple channels of entertainment at one time are also done through multiple radios.

Requirements /components:
Filters, Receivers(modules) and amplifiers, wiring, high power transmitters, Antennas, Repeaters, Base station, Coverage Map, Power supplies, STL ( studio transmitter link ).
The Radio system itself consists of General purpose microprocessor, FPGAs( Field programmable Graphic Array ), Digital signal controllers, application-specific integrated circuits, Analogue to Digital converter

Considerations:
Several factors are to be considered while establishing this setup. The nontechnical yet most important part is providing the Optimum temperature for the equipment. On the technical side factors like Load balancing, throughput interference-free surrounding, and availability of coverage map are contributing factors to the successful implementation of the radio system

Standards:
The IEEE standards for wireless communication are standardized by the category IEEE 802.11. Further variants of this technology include 802.11a,802.11b, and 802.11g. All mentioned standards have their capacity and range in terms of frequency. 802.11a and 802.11g have a capacity bag of 54Mbps, whereas 802.11b can pull up to 11 Mbp, along with other Radio Frequencies that can be used for transmission and operation.
