Qatar Hospital System for Vendor Solicitation A hospital being a big institution it need to be sub- divided so as to be upgraded. It is good to break the transformation processes into small projects so as to make it a success. The breakdown will ensure the operation continues during the upgrade. It will also ensure that all the sections of the hospitals have been tackled. Qatar Hospital System project has been divided into different sub-projects. The different projects include patient management, Finance management, clinical management, staff management, stock control system and emergency management [Sta11]. The table below gives a clear illustration of the subprojects. It gives the completion time of the project. The table describes the projects and the qualification that the different vendors contacted for the job are expected to have. The stakeholders of the project had different levels of influence and power. Those with high influence and power were expected to give report more frequently than those with low influence and power. The different objectives were stated to guide the whole process. The objectives were divided in a way they are expected to be delivered. The milestones on how the work was created to make the work easier [Sta11]. The exceptions were also stated to reduce surprises. The financial statement was created to prepare the stakeholders on the money they are expected to spend. The plan included the risk management. Different ideas were given on ways to manage the risks that might be experience during the transformation step. The plan also includes the communication process. The different ways of communication among the members was important. Good communication is important in ensuring that all ideas were taken serious. This was to avoid further confusion. The budget was also created. This helped to reduce the misuse of the resources. It was created to ensure that the processes were done without the money issues. The human resource team was also important in assigning the task. This was important in ensuring that each member was given specific responsibility and time that is expected to take with the work. Personal Reflective Journal Project management is the process of achieving some goals by motivation, planning, controlling and planning specific rules and procedures. A good project needs to be of benefit to the organization. It should have a specific beginning and ending. Just like any other project the Qatar Hospital System project has its ups and downs. The project is expected to be of benefit to the hospital. It is expected to give both financial stability and quality improvement to the hospital. The project is depended on to ensure that the hospital gives better services to the patients. The project team has the task of ensuring that the state of the organization is improved. The project will be of beneficial value to both the patients and the staff. It gives the staff enough resting time for it will have a reliable staffing system. Enough resting time is important for it encourages quality services to the patients. The entire project will be able to improve the quality of the hospital. Qatar hospital service standards will be upgraded for the better. It will be help the hospital maintain their financial stability. The new system will ensure that the resources are well used. It will improve the efficiency and effectiveness among the workers. It will increase the profits for their will be no loop holes for the dishonest employees. The system will save on time making the services faster. This will ensure that all the patients are served on time. It will make the patients with emergency to be given concentration. The group project has been of benefit to me as an individual. It has given me knowledge on project management. The group work has made the project much east then if it were personal work. Having worked as a group it was much easier to collect information in hospital improvement project than working individually. The group work made it possible to keep together the different sub projects into one. Being a big project division of tasks among the group members made it simpler. It ensured that the entire task was completed in the right time. The group work ensured that the work was completed in the time scheduled.
