The rationale for undertaking this research work comes in three-fold. First, there is the need for continual research into the buying behaviour of customers even as the issue of internet shopping continues to become a global issue that concerns each of every person, especially students. This rationale will go a long way to either confirming or denying basic knowledge that has already being built in the field of consumer buying behavior in relation to e-shopping. Secondly, the rationale for undertaking this research is that, even as students join the masses in engaging in e-shopping, this research will expose them to certain vital considerations and factors that are worth noting and addressing in their day-to-day dealing with e-shopping.

This enlightenment would help students in making the right choices when it comes to their buying behaviours. Finally, undertaking this research is extremely important in the sense that it will not only help consumers in making the right choices with their buying behaviour but would also enlighten business owners and enterpreneurs on the choice to make when they decide on going to business. This choice would be chosen mainly among the options of electronic business and traditional business. Research Questions With the research aim and specific objectives well spelt out, it is the hope of the researcher that addressing and finding answers to the questions below would lead to the achievement of the research aim and specific objectives.

To this end, answers to these questions shall be sought from among the reviewing of related literature and through primary data collection that will be undertaken among university studies of a chosen university. The questions are as follows:1. What is consumer behaviour?2. Are there types of consumer behaviour? If yes, what are they? 3.
