A Proposal Plan Teaching strategies being used by institutes and intellectual education programs' teachers in Saudi Arabia 2 0 Introduction This section of my project will describe the past and current challenges the institutes and intellectual education program’s teachers face in Saudi Arabia. There are grave concerns about the adaptability of the regular curriculums to suit the needs of intellectually disabled students; there are suggestions about which dynamic strategy would be appropriate for these students; and, there are worries about how to determine the exact mental and academic characteristics of these intellectually disabled students (Sunal and Mutua, 2008). 2.0 Literature Review In-depth literature review will be conducted on the theme of this research to indicate the nature of the problems, the possible solutions to address the problems, and the expected outcomes when the solutions are properly applied. 3.0 Problem Question The major question this study wants to proffer suitable answer to is: “What are the teaching strategies that being used by teachers of intellectual institutes and education programs in Saudi Arabia, and what is its relationship with some variables?
" (Brown, 2008). Furthermore, the following study questions would be answered in this paper: What teaching strategies used by teachers of intellectual institutes and education programs in Saudi Arabia? (Sunal and Mutua, 2008). 3 Are there any differences between the responses of the study sample in the teaching strategies used by teachers of institutes and intellectual education programs in Saudi Arabia due to the difference in the following variables: (sample sex, teaching experience, teaching environment, training courses)?
What are the obstacles that prevent the use of intellectual education teachers to some of the strategies of teaching? Are there any differences between the responses of the study sample in the obstacles that prevent the use of intellectual education teachers to some of the teaching strategies due to the difference in the following variables: (sample sex, teaching experience, teaching environment, training courses)? 4.0 Objectives of the Study The following are the objectives of this study: Identify the teaching strategies used by teachers of intellectual institutes and education programs in Saudi Arabia.
Identify the differences between the responses of the study sample in the teaching strategies used by teachers of institutes and intellectual education programs in Saudi Arabia due to the difference in the following variables: (sample sex, teaching experience, teaching environment, training courses) (Brown, 2008). Identify the obstacles that prevent the use of intellectual education teachers to some teaching strategies. 4 Identify the differences between the responses of the study sample in the obstacles that prevent the use of intellectual education teachers to some of the teaching strategies due to the difference in the following variables: (sample sex, teaching experience, teaching environment, training courses). 5.0 Methodology The methodology that will be employed in this paper is basically qualitative technique of researching.
Many secondary sources (books, magazines, journals, governmental publications etc) will be consulted to address the problem question raised above. 6.0 Findings/Observations The findings or observations about the issue of teaching strategies being used by institutes and intellectual education programs' teachers in Saudi Arabia will be discussed here. This may include presenting some charts and data that reveal the actual problem and the corresponding impacts of the solutions that had been applied so far (Al-Zaid, 1982) 7.
0 Discussion The findings or observations would be elaborately discussed to show the possible future trends of this problem, and how institutes and governmental educational bodies are working in collaboration to stem the tide of this major educational concern in Saudi Arabia (Al-Zaid, 1982). 5 8.0 Conclusion/Recommendations Appropriate conclusion would be drawn on the issues raised in the foregoing about how Saudi Arabia is struggling to create a comfortable learning environment for intellectually challenged students, and thereby providing or making suggestion for the implementation of workable or functional teaching strategies.
Recommendations would be made about which further areas of this problem should be dealt with in future research or study. The conclusion and recommendation will serve as the main summary of the major points raised in the other sections of the paper, bearing in mind that the subject of teaching strategies is a dynamic one, and can change from one generation to another. This is an interesting observation that would encourage future researchers on teaching strategies to utilize the current studies on the same topic. 9.0 References All the books cited in the study will be appropriately references using APA citation; and if necessary, short notes will be provided on the current research that adequately tackled the problem of choosing the right teaching strategy for people suffering from intellectual disability.
