College Questionnaire What do you consider to be your childs outstanding accomplishments of the past three or four years? Why do you select these as most important?My three-year old son has developed the "Mirage Jet Model" at his junior school. His colleagues in that school have shown great interest in this model and are visiting him to get to know more about the jet model. The boy has also formed a small club dealing with jet model development and pupils interested in aerospace exploration studies are welcome to freely join.
In the years when the first man landed on the on the moon, such clubs exited existed and my son has declared their revival.Another outstanding accomplishment is that during the Greenland Norse Exploration (GNE), he was awarded a 1st prize for space exploration interest. This is an indication that his hardworking and that he has a great quest for space exploration studies. The prize was not only reward to rewarding to him, but also to me and his mother. Camping in Greenland during the GNE is a good accomplishment since my son gathered more knowledge and developed some deeper understanding of aerospace exploration.
This has also made the boy curious about other forms of aircraft and improvement of the jet modeling skills in him has been noted.In what areas has your child shown the most development and growth during the past three or four years?Our son has demonstrated some maturity and has become goal-conscious during the last three years. Adventuring away from home has made him a more responsible and independent child. What are a few of the characteristics you admire most about your child?One of the characteristics admirable about our son is the persistence he has about innovation.
He has been keen in trying to always invent something new that others have not, and he is serious when going through texts and drawings about innovation.in addition, he has an insatiable desire to experiment and test every model he makes and inn all these experiences, we never cease to give him support. If you had to describe your child in a few adjectives, what would they be?The boy is passionate, ambitious, determined and also diligent, Are there any unusual or personal circumstances that have affected your child’s educational or personal experiences?
The only unusual or personal circumstance that has affected the boys’ educational or personal experiences is his nature of experiencing emotions swing when he feels unappreciated by other kids. Are there any specific considerations you feel strongly about as your child compiles a college list (e.g. geographic location, size, setting, athletic or artistic opportunities, religious affiliation, financial aid)?I feel that it is important that the university to offer aerospace and space exploration studies so this helps him in developing a deeper level of this field.
This is because I perceive that nurturing him in this area would shape his future career. Additionally, there is a high probability of increasing artistic abilities as well as the boy getting a financial scholarship.Please list the names of any colleges you think are a good fit for your child. Why these are particularly suited? The University of North Dakota located in the United States and specifically at Grand Forks, North Dakota, and the University of Southern California located in Los Angeles, California.
This is because these universities offer courses in aerospace sciences and engineering respectively.How might your child handle denial from particular colleges?He is respectful about any decision made and is always positives about criticism in spite of the fact that he craves for appreciation in what he does. (Optional) Please write a brief anecdote about your child that you feel captures one or more of his or her special qualities. Traveling and adventure are some of our hobbies and when doing this, we get an opportunity to explore different environments and diverse cultures.
Our son shows great interest in finding out more about each new environment we visit. This is demonstrated by his habit of taking notes as well as making sketches of whatever comes across his eyes during these trips.
