Reflective Piece Introduction Writing has been considered as a leading input to presenting the needed values in language comprehension. Without the, effective communicative, process, the rules of presenting a properly written piece may not be delivered to the desired level. However, with the needed direction and proper input in the English language, the writing skills can be developed to reflect the presentations needed in articulating the needed results. The writing process entails the need to possess the proper communicative skills and direction, in offering proper language selection and grammatical arrangement of the elements that compose the right writing. With the majority of the provision placed on the desire to offer a level of language learning to match the needed standard, the grades of a student are elevated to deliver success. These have been the principles that have inspired my learning abilities as I chose to join the university. English language has been the mostly applied international language in understanding given information and completing successful course selection. I have always wanted to become a professional writer and an advanced analyst of given compositions that are based on the English language (Chan and Lutovich 28). With the Expository writing course, the advancement of these needed traits has been harbored to boost my morale and the attributes needed to deliver success. I had joined the university with the motive to advance both my English language and become successful in the course that I had needed to complete to becoming an advanced graduate. When I initially took the writing course at the commencement of the semester, I held the idea that the language learning would be an easy task, but the process proved cumbersome and difficult. However, with more exercises and tasks to be completed, I have advanced in my writing and thinking abilities to become better at the English language (Bullock, Goggin, and Weinberg 18). Although there is difficulty in mastering writing and comprehension ability, the course has proved to be the ideal tool in developing the language attributes. The expository writing course had presented the challenge to present mastery on six leading areas in language mastery. The leading attribute that I had managed to acquire was in the article comprehension and writing. With the input in the articles that I had managed to write, I learnt the importance of presenting my ideas in an organized manner. The introductory paragraph had been the most challenging with difficulty presented in the research process. Once the articles had been known, I had failed to offer the opportunity to arranging the facts in an organized manner. The articles presented the ventures to organize productive topic sentences in a chronological manner. In the enclosure article 2 that I had written about King’s article on "Why We Crave Horror Movies," I managed to convince the reader why the author of the article within the playboy magazine developed a concrete argument on the behavior of humanity. With proper analysis and the needed reference in the article, the work that I had written obeyed the rules of creative writing to help me develop my language knowledge. Moreover, I had managed to present the need to provide the correct grammatical presentation and the right tenses avoiding basic punctuation errors through proof reading my work. The article also offered the venture to analyze the proper discourse community knowledge. This area had been meant to offer the needed relationship between existing ideologies to be supported with the needed text after intensive research. However in the article, Organ Sales will save lives, I managed to analyze the contents effectively but failed to proof read my work correctly. The relationship accorded to the experience of the process of dialysis had been paramount and I needed to create the facts to the knowledge I presented (Mackay 3). The expository writing class had stressed on the need to check the writing before submitting a final presentation (Howatt 39). With the failure in considering these rules, the piece that I had written on enclosure three provided minimal results because there was minimal proper citing style and proof reading. The sentences within the paper had failed to present the needed flow found in an adequate paper with increased grammatical errors. I have since presented the need to thorough check my writing and apply the needed skills in developing the appropriate written piece. All the basics to writing had been complete through effective subject matter articulating and made the writing skills that I had developed advanced. The facts that I had gathered from the first essay that had been written on the experience I developed in learning at Bristol. The most input had been from my English teachers, especially Mrs. Carol who ensured the mastery of the language had been in a stable environment. The teacher had stressed on the need to complete a satisfactory assignment through offering strict verdict on the pieces that I had written and presented a higher expectation for the class. In the reflective piece that I had written, the explanation was given that the teacher had given the class a single opportunity to correct minor mistakes and avoid delivering poor quality assignments. The input had been placed on presenting the needed results after carefully writing the piece to relate to the taught skills. In the article that I had written on the gay couples, the lessons learned in the class had been organized with the article containing minor mistakes (Mellow 56). The writing format had been supported with the proper citations and flowing sentences. However, the writing style that I had developed needed further progress because there were evident errors in sentence structure and paragraph formation. Although the expository writing class has improved my language and sentence formation, there is still added progress needed to develop comprehension to the desired level. Without the guidelines in the expectation of the classes, there may be minimal progress realized in identifying mistakes made in writing an article. The course has also advanced my research skills, because I am capable of linking my ideas to the available written article. The development of the sentences is presented in formation of credible information from the resources available with the right citation measures to avoid plagiarism report. The key to comprehension, as I have learnt, has been placed on the principles of writing that I had developed from reflecting on the mistakes that I had encountered. The reading on the Norton Field Guide helped develop the skills that had needed to excel in successfully completing the course. With the needed incentives in advancing my comprehension and writing style, I had managed to advance within the shortest period. The first article that I wrote had minimal flow within the text and needed the necessary adjustment to deliver a satisfactory piece. With the limited experience that I had presented on the English language, the challenge I presented had been in the right layout of my paper. I had been used to writing in the Arabic style because the language held minimal rules. However, with the tough subjections I managed to learn the importance of presenting an organized article. Through the guidance of Mrs. Carol, English language became easier and more fun because the lesson presented had been in the first hand experience before written prose. The lesson that I had learnt had been in using a straightforward language that engaged the audience to the chief idea. Wordiness had been avoided through colloquialism and my work had reduced plagiarism (Foster 39). The complicated research process had been made easier through directing the effort towards supporting the written thesis statement. The article I had written on Rules are First had varied from the one on Gay Marriage because I did not present a strong thesis statement. The expository course has been made simpler with the understanding that I managed to develop in presenting concrete statements. Through rereading and checking for punctuation errors, the strong topic sentences and thesis have been stronger and limit the errors caused in failing to present a complete piece. I have developed the skills needed to make the written articles simpler and clearer in a given assignment. Conclusion The writing and comprehension course has improved my mastery of the English language. Through the exercises issued on self reflection and research materials, I have managed to deliver the needed results to produce outstanding writings. The challenges that I had in making principal mistakes in my writing have been avoided through clarifying on the topic sentences. I have also learnt that proof reading and presenting a thoroughly completed piece would support a strong paper.
