EHL refers to Elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication and presents dense friction which hinders visualization (Cameroon, 1966). Elastohydrodynamic lubrication is found in various common machine components. To build up the existence of elements and to lower the level of friction, it is essential to enable predictions of lubricating conditions, for instance, the contact pressure as well as lubricant thickness of the film. This can be achieved through the use of numerical simulations and computational equipment because this kind of simulation enhances lubrication conditions such as contact pressure and the film thickness of the lubricant in the components of the machines like rolling element bearings, clutches piston rings among others.

The EHL friction and visualization test equipment is the mechanical arrangement to solve the friction and lubrication problems. This final paper studies the test equipment for film thickness in isothermal pure rolling elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) considering the viscose-plasticity of lubricants (Ford, Harman & Cameron 1968).The vital film thickness formula which is based on the lubricant viscous-plasticity degenerates out through the study which indicates a deviation of elastohydrodynamic lubrication from the conventional hypothesis within high progressing speeds and profound loads (M.

Smith and H. A. Spikes, 1966). This divergence, in reality, explains the elastohydrodynamic thickness of the film when the lubricant shear strength and the highest supportable shear damage on the lubricant-surface crossing point in the EHL inlet precinct and mortify due to high temperature. Elastohydrodynamic lubrication takes place under high masses and is mainly encountered with hydrocarbon-based oils. At this point, the pressure developed in the lubricant is relatively high to elastically distort the surface of the metal on either side of the oil film.

This takes place due to the fact that the viscosity of these fluids raises considerably as the pressure goes up. The valves, as well as the piston, rings sporadically operate in this expanse.
