This conference was to provide the groups with time for preparation for the debate that was schedules to take place one week after this date. Prior to this conference meeting, all groups were equipped with the information of the organization they were required to analyze. In our case, however, there is no group member that has acquired this information. This displayed lack of preparation on our side as we were required to analyze an organization we were unfamiliar with. However, some of the member in our group had access to iPad and iTouch which made it easier to access appropriate and sufficient information on our organization. In addition to our lack of preparation, one of our group members was missing from the conference. Their role in the group was significant and I am of the assumption that their presence would have increased our sources of information. Later in the conference, the group member was able to show up and the spirit of the group was rekindled. The group discussion lasted for an hour. After this session, all group members were able to analyze other group tables and determined the issue faced by their companies as well as strategies put in place to minimize and avoid the issues. I tend to embrace the assumption that, the first conference was a difficult task considering that it was a new experience and none of the members in our group knew what to expect. We took a collective decision to create note on the sustainability of our company or use an iPad since it is simpler approach to access company information from online databases. Conference 2 The second conference was attended on 27/4/14. The conference aimed mainly to enable debate with other groups on the sustainability frameworks of their organizations. However, prior to the debate session, we decided to discuss in detail the information we acquired regarding our organization. In general, we analyzed the information we obtained on the sustainability of our company. At this point, the requirements of the conference were clear and we were able to understand the requirements. In addition, we acquired appropriate and useful information on the sustainability of our company. The composition of our group included five members; three were masculine. Our group had the mandate of focusing on two electronic companies; Mitsubishi and Samsung, and delivering companies; UPS and Maersk Line. This division enabled group member to deliberate and come up with ideas supporting other ideas developed. The conclusion of the debate required presentation of findings by all groups. From our group, we selected two people who well understood the information we obtained on our organization and would presents exceptionally. Distribution group In our group, we decided to select the distribution group. This title depicted the duty and the objectives of our organization. Under the distribution group, we are able to contract with other organization if they needed delivery services to other countries. Experience The conference enabled me to attain a lot of experience in the filed I indulged in. In addition, I improved my self-determination. In addition, collaborative learning and working in teams enables me understand how well to control a company in regards to staff and customers. Addition, this experience was also equipped with the ability to control the sustainability of an organization. The benefits of debating with other groups and taking part in group discussions were exceptional. One remarkable benefit is that I was able to improve my communication skills. In addition, I was able to develop my planning skills. This was based on the knowledge provided to me on the effectiveness of developing plans as the CEO of my company to sustain my company. Conclusion Learning and collaborating in group is significant since it provides one with tactics on how to effectively work and handle other people. This was realizes at the end of the debate. My role in the group was also important as I was able to provide information as part of my contribution. In our group we were able to eliminate a managerial figure as we all understood the strengths of each other. The module was effective to provide me with the knowledge to understand the role of the CEO to retain company sustainability.
