Admission/Application Essay, Education Positive Impact of an Additional Pre-K to Children, Families, and Community An additional Pre-K class shall aid the positive development of more children. They get to meet other children in school, which promotes their social skills, through the interactions they maintain. A larger number of parents with young children will also benefit from this additional program. These parents will get an opportunity to attend to other important issues in life, while their children attend school.

Given that such schools guarantee safety of children, the assurance boosts the emotional stability of the parents when at work. More to this, the programs reduce living expenses, thus strengthening the financial position of the families. The additional school shall also further the economic development of the community, as more locals shall be employed to enhance operations of the schools (Bartik, 2011).How to Recruit and Enroll Children to Fill an Additional ClassroomRecruitment of additional children shall be done through raising awareness of the existing opportunity.

Hand bins, and posters shall be printed out and be distributed at major positions in the area to enlighten residents of the opportunity. In addition, participation in community events shall offer an opportunity for the participants to learn about the available vacancy. Once the information passes on, I believe word of mouth shall also help to increase recruitment as people pass on the information. The enrollment period shall also be made public by putting adverts in the newspapers. Additionally, local church bulletins will be used to pass the information to a wider population.

Enrollment of the children shall be done once all the required requirements are met with the primary criteria being attainment of four years (Pianta, Barnett, Justice, & Sheridan 2012).Successful Implementation, Support, and Monitoring of an Additional ClassOnce the Pre-K program is funded, I shall ensure that the teachers recruited to handle the children possess the necessary qualifications. This promotes the quality of education given to the children at an early age as the teachers have capacity to impact the children positively.

More to this, adopting learning standards shall ensure that the physical, motor, and emotional aspects of a child’s development are covered (Saracho & Spodek, 2013). Frequent visits to the classroom shall also be made to assess the progress of the children, and appropriate steps taken where necessary to improve performance.Support Given to Children with Disabilities or Development Delays, Challenging Behavior, Non-Native English SpeakersChildren with disabilities require additional attention to succeed in school.

Therefore, provision of individualized assessments and facilities shall be provided when necessary to promote a positive experience in school. Balancing the racial background of teachers in the school shall promote the support given to children who are not native English speakers. More to this, integrating the different races will expose the children to diverse cultures at an early stage, thus promoting their coping abilities (National Academy of Sciences, 2011). More to this, the teachers shall endeavor to motivate children who display challenging behavior, these shall be done by encouraging positive behavior, given that young children can be easily moulded (Phelan, 2004).

Once this program is licensed, seven children aged two-years and below shall be enrolled. 15 three year olds and 22 four year olds will be enrolled to the school. In addition, school age students to be enrolled shall be nine.
