Marketing Research Methods
Firstly, one way to carry out my research would be testing. Testing allows the target audience, for example, different women to check the bras and give feedback. Secondly, one on one interview would be another approach in my research. One on one interview is an effective way of getting useful data. Hearing what women want from their words can help in identifying the audience who need the specific features that Waterproof Sticky Bra offers. Both methods of research would give useful data to establish the target audience.
Testing, as a research method, would be best suitable for the Waterproof Sticky Bra. Testing allows the potential audience to test the product and give detailed feedback. The feedback is a tool, which I would use to determine the target audience (Kono & Lynn, 2007). I will give the Waterproof Sticky Bras to the sampled women to use the product for at least a month. Sampled women will include employed, middle class and the wealthy women, which will allow me to choose the audience with the most interest in the type of bra I offer. I wanted to test because it is a fast way to get information (Kono & Lynn, 2007). The potential audience can give accurate information since they have tested the product and can compare it with other products and give feedback.
Target Audience
The target audience for the Waterproof Sticky Bras is the employed middle-class women. The middle-class women are the majority who wear different types of dresses and are influenced by fashion and new trends in the society. Such women attend various events, for example, weddings, work parties, restaurant dinners among others. It means that the middle-class women can afford different types of dresses, swim suits and tops hence are looking for a bra that can meet their lifestyle (Woodward, 2007). Waterproof Sticky Bra is the kind of bra they need. Therefore, these women can identify with our product.Consequently, the financial capability of the middle class allows them to afford Waterproof Sticky Bra. Middle-class women have the purchasing power to buy different colors of the bra and can afford the price. One of the main advantages of our bra is that it allows women to wear various types of dresses, swim suits and tops. Hence the middle class would need to buy more Waterproof Sticky Bras to much their different clothes they purchase. The middle-class women who are employed averagely go to work five days a week hence want bras, which are comfortable and allows them to wear different types of dresses (Woodward, 2007).
SWOT Analysis
SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis for my product is a critical way to evaluate my product on important fronts (Sänn, 2017). Waterproof Sticky Bras SWOT is as shown in figure 2 below.
